Safety first
A good article for safety. Even my neighbours gave me good comments. On our street some people have the tendency to drive quite fast so I feel better with the sign.

Haven't Been Able to Use It!
For something that should be simple to use, it is very difficult to even get it to be functional. Not only is it impossible to fit the body into the base, but the lid to keep the water in the base doesn't even fit into the opening. Sad that we haven't even been able to use it.

    SLOW DOWN !!
    It's quite visible & have noticed many speeding vehicles slow down when they approach! Well worth the money especially if it can prevent an accident. It came missing the flag but luckily I had a spare bike flag that fit.

    Really does slow down car speed
    We love it, we live on a 90km/h road. We put it out in the morning before the bus and I take it back in once my child is on the bus. The bus driver also likes it, he knows our child is there for the bus. And it really does slow down all the cars

    Great customer service!
    I purchased two of these online and one had a crack in the base. Rather than waste time energy and money to ship it back to the retailer who should most likely scrap it I reached out to step2 directly and they shipped a replacement base. Kudos for going the route of less waste.

    We named our first Kid Alert, "Bob 1"
    "Bob 1" did an awesome job slowing down traffic, but he was thrown over the fence multiple times, run over, and eventually "Bob Napped" with no ransom request! So our new "Bob 2" is on duty here in Sausalito in front of my driveway, and we installed a Tile PPS in case he is kidnapped. We glued it under the visor on his cap!

    Nice surprise at Walmart
    I normally do not shop at Walmart. My car always gets hit, and the store is usually a complete mess. I saw online this item: Step2 Kid alert and it was 5 dollars cheaper than a competitor. I also saw there was free shipping to the store. So I ordered the item. It came in 4 days sooner than originally promised which was a plus. The online pick-up was in the back of the store. The young lady behind the counter was pleasant and helpful and I was in and out of the store in 7 minutes. The item was is perfect order and it was exactly what I wanted. Thank you

    Good once you manage to assemble
    This comes in just two pieces, but putting them together was almost impossible. It is two plastic pieces that snap together, but they are so tight that it required some axle grease and a great amount of force from my neighbor after my husband and I both couldn't get it together. Once it is together it is great.
