for my grandson...
Who lives on XBOX. He liked Gen 1 of this but excessive use always caused failure at the swivel socket of the cans after 1.5 - 2 years. -- Gen 2 has addressed that problem with what looks like more robust mechanics

DO NOT PURCHASE
I bought this for my son for Christmas 2020 and by May of 2021, 5 MONTHS LATER, he could not hear out of the left side AND the mic broke. I paid $89.96 at the time for what??? 5 months of use? Now I have to eat it because it's too late to do anything about it. He said that if he sits a certain way he can hear a little, but still cannot talk to his friends. SUPERHUMAN HEARING? HHAHAHAHAHA NOPE!!! SHAME ON YOU STEALTH FOR WASTING PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY ESPECIALLY DURING COVID 19!!!!!

    Waste of money.
    I bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day and it was a complete waste of money. It doesn't stay charged. It doesn't stay connected. And when it is connected, it's really choppy. Extremely disappointed.

    my phone, bought at Durant walmart with straight talk wireless service won't operate away from my house or download anything. I returned the headphones, but didn't get the full amount I was promised. I ordered them from Walmart. com because I didn't want a broken one from the store that had been returned. walmart was too smart for me though. I took it back, but since my phone that I bought from Walmart won't work except on my wifi at home, I didnt get my full refund. I will learn the lesson and buy gaming gear from the people who make them.

    Not the best at price point
    they definitely have great sound but I dont like the fabric ear cushions, should be vinyl for heat/sweat. They are a bit weighty and fit really tight so probably will get better after broken in. overall decent but not the best even @ $99 price point.

    Great headset, could improve 1 thing
    The headsets are outstanding! The connection between the headset and the Xbox is quick and easy as well as its great sound quality. One thing which kind of ruins it though is how it feels on the head, mainly the ear parts. It feels somewhat tight but besides that, everything else is good.

    It sounds great but has a few issues!
    It's a decent headset but feels cheaper than other headsets in the price range, the wireless is ok sad it doesn't have a headphone jack. Overall it's a decent headset and sounds great!

    Do not buy this for PC use, without also...
    TLDR: This headset is actually $130 if you want it for PC, as the Wireless USB isn't included. Do not buy this for PC use in general. What they don't tell you is that while this supposedly can technically used with a PC, it only says in fine print on the bottom of the back of the box that you either need a special Xbox wireless PC, or you also need to buy a separate Xbox Wireless Adapter because the headphones don't come with a wireless dongle! So, that's another $25 to $30, not including shipping, just to use this with a PC and they don't tell you about this beforehand! At first I thought that it was a shipping mistake and they just forgot to include the wireless USB stick, so I sent it back for a return, and it was only on closer inspection of the fine print on the back of the new package they sent me that I realised this.
