Perfect!
Light saber came earlier than expected in ample time for halloween. We purchased a similar item and it was cheaply made and didn't make sounds. For the price, we were not expecting much but it is well made, sturdy (my 2 year old grandson has been abusing - I mean- using it for several days now) and makes awesome sounds!. His dad has an extremely expensive one (over $100) and they've been battling all week and it holds its own against the superior product. Great buy. My grandson is loving it!

Just ok
The sword itself is rather cute, but the sounds that come from it, sound like a traumatically dying whale. I switched the batteries 3 times with new ones because it sounds like the batteries are dying even though they are new. Haven't seen the new movie but I'm sure the original ones did not sound this way. My grandson loved it so I suppose I'll keep it! Almost forgot. The capability of connecting 3 swords to make a master sword is very cool. I hope the 5 yr old stays interested enough so I can see the end result, lol!

    I purchased this for my son to go along with his Halloween Darth Vadar costume. He loves it! Bought this specifically for the light up capability. The sound effects are an extra bonus!!

    Better than expected.
    Ordered 2 of the "Bladebuilders" lightsabres online for my 7 year old's birthday mid March. We have had several good battles since. He got the big set for Christmas and now with the new 2 making 3 full size lightsabres the "fights" are great. They are all fairly strong for collapsible plastic "blades" and the sound effects for movement and impact are bang-on. I think the adults are enjoying them just as much as the kids. Now all I need to do is complete the set...
