    Works best for brunettes.
    I love this color so much we bought it twice. The first time we dyed it right on her brown hair the second time we bleached her hair first and it came out more of a red than a burgundy so we liked it better on her brown hair. Color stay for a while before faded to pick.

    5 stars for longevity…. I’ve had the Jade in for a month and it still hasn’t faded. This pic is 3 weeks after dying, no touch ups or anything. I’m almost starting to get concerned. Gorgeous color though!!! -1 star because it stains your hands for several washes after, and I look like a zombie.

    13 years ago this coming December I found out that I had breast cancer the hardest thing I've ever went through the chemo the thickness anemia the infections it was the hardest time going through that I am now in remission and I have been for quite a while but I support my pink colors I wear pink bracelets so why not change my hair to Pink all the time I get a lot of comments on how beautiful the color is and question to ask him why and of course they're closed today aren't you a little old to dye your hair that color I say no I'm not I love the midnight magenta that turned out to be the prettiest pink and the brightest to get my attention to the world about breast cancer I love this product and I will continue to use it so many people are trying to keep me from using it saying it's not good for your hair but I've never had a problem with anything or anybody doing anything with my hair as long as you keep making that magenta I will continue to deny my hair to support breast cancer to support me being a survivor I'm blessed to have a great support system my husband loves my hair the way I do it but as he tells me it's my decision and I absolutely love splat I tell people all about it how I got my landlord daughter want the hair like my color so I told her how I got it and what color it is so I support you guys as much as I support my breast cancer I will continue doing my hair pink and magenta at the darker pink that I like as long as you guys keep making it I'm a huge

    Best purple hands down.
    I have been coloring my hair for 30 years. The splat midnight series has the best color stay of any brand I've used, including salon only colors. I have unfortunately been unable to find my midnight tanzinite In store recently. I've been using that particular color for several years after switching from Pravana. It's the best purple I've ever used. It stays and looks amazing even when fading. Please never stop making it.

    I'm 75 years old and I started using Splat when I retired at 63. I use almost all the colors and I get so many positive comments from strangers, a majority of young people. Splat makes my soul happy!

    Just what I wanted
    Not what I was expecting but just what I wanted. I have been using henna on my hair for years but have been wanting to do something not permanent as I am contemplating going back to my grey. I had previously used a color depositing conditioner but I didn't take well to the grey hair. This turned the hennaed portions of my hair a lovely ruby but it turned the long grey roots an amazing pink which is what I have been wanting but was not expecting from this color. The ombré effect is incredible! It does bleed something fierce and even when dry transfers to my hands.

    hands down the best color for my dark hair. The problem you will run into is it doesnt last long and it stains everything it lands on. i still use it regardless but its a mess.

    Most of the complainers didnt read the directions
    I bought this for my 1st grade daughter who wanted hair like Mal. we have used non permanent colors before and this time she wanted a "real" dye job. The short and sweet: Pros - the price for one, application was easy, the color vibrant over medium blonde hair. Cons - it turned out patchy despite carefully ensuring every strand was fully saturated, and it is very stainy. Here's the thing, the instructions are. VERY clear that it will stain skin and surfaces. It specifically recommends using vasaline around your hairline and ears to prevent staining your skin and explicitly says do not rinse off in shower as it may stain skin and surfaces. i had my kid pull up a stool and lean back like at a salon and rinsed it off of her with no problem. what little light staining i had in the tub after rinsing and washing her hair came out with one spray of bleach cleaner. all in all it was a decent product for way cheap, it lost points for the patchyness which wasn't super bad but it was noticeable to me at least. and for the stain factor, it's almost impossible not to get a drip somewhere.
