Did not perform like other SpiderWire products
I ordered this in hopes it would be more quiet through the rod guides. While that was the case, the line also parted on 4 redfish the first day I used it. I boxed up the other 15 spools and returned them. The concept is great but until it performs like Invisibraid or UltraCast it will not be part of my tackle stock.

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/25/2019Excellent for spinning reelsI bought it to use on a spinning reel to crappie fish. It is smooth casting and can launch the bait a very long distance, which is need for my style of crappie fishing.Brad520

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/01/2018A Different ApproachAs a full-time guide, I usually use Invisibraid but wanted to try a different line color and "class" of line. Understand that Ultracast and Invisibraid are designed for a higher breaking strength but most of the breaks for my business occur at the leader/mainline, as designed. Not the mainline itself. I've had no issues with this product and think it deserves some highlights: - The feel of the line is incredibly...well, smooth. A flick of the wrist and this line casts beautifully over and over. - Tensile strength is fine. We fish it around docks, oysters, jetties, and other rip-rap with various skill levels and have no issues with inadvertent bail closures breaking line. Takes ALOT of strain to cut it along a rock or piling. - Has not faded in saltwater/sun/12hrs a day usage. I have had moss green for a few weeks. Bottom line: We're pulling in the same type of fish with this line and the "line integrity" continues to hold. I may outfit all 12 of my inshore rods with this. Good product, Pure Fishing.Fish Whisperer Charters

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/13/2017Spider wire Stealth SmoothI use this line on 20 drifting rods on both of my boats. This line allows me to spool 125 yards of 65 lb. Test . The small diva. cuts through the water allowing min. weights and floats. The zero stretch allows quick removal on hang ups without disturbing the boat position. Fish strikes are also violent due to the zero stretch. Knots are 100% line strength. My business depends on catching fish with no excuses, this is the only line I use for big Blue Cats. Capt. 1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/23/2017DisapointedBoth items I ordered were obsolete. I have been using spider wire for well over 10 years for everything from trout to muskey and been completely happy but this was very disappointing and have now missed the season I would have used the 15 lb braided forJack 77

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/12/2017Smooth and Strong Spider WireSmooth tough and sensitive can't say more. You need to buy it, try it, and decide for yourself. I mainly use the 30lb and bigger with casting outfits for bass living in Fl but am going to experiment with lighter in the future with spinning outfits. Tried it a couple of times but the jury is still out.Spiderxxxxxxx
