Great gift.
Husband had been wanting this for a few months. I finally found it at a reasonable price on Lakeside, got it and gave it to him. He has used it many times.

Waste of time and money
Drill part of bit is too soft, gets full immediately and won't create a recess for the spinal part to grip...you will waste your time and effort...I used a drill and an ez-out

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/31/2022Significant other was very happy. After many times of hearing my significant other complain about stripping the heads of screws, when trying to remove them, I saw this. Bought it and gave it to him. One happy man.Silver80

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/31/2016probably an old rejected inventiontried on multiple occasions..apparently its no good on alluminum screws ..both ends of the bit were stripped within seconds the first time..apparently the drill end just comes apart when it gets warm and ends up looking alot like the extracting end..the extracting end turned the hole into an impossibly smooth cone/funnel shape which enabled me to take aim with my titanium bit and drill out the screw the old school way.. so after i threw the speedout in the trash and swept up it dawned on me...if this worked somebody would have manufactured one about the same time the drill was invented...or sometime around the World War 2 era when time was of the essense and wasted time meant mens lives.. and they only offer replacement of this item..why replace it if it doesnt work?ThingyNoWorkie

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/07/2016Stripped screw headThe day after I received the Speed Out bits, I had a stripped screw head on a door hinge. Used the proper bit and was able to speedily remove the screw and replace with a new screw to repair a sticky door.Poppaoscar

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/05/2015Expensive garbageHad to remove three stuck stripped screws. First screw, didn't work. That screw was really messed up so I tried the second, bit melted. Just for kicks I tried the third ground a bigger hole in the screw and didn't work. Returned melted useless junk.CaptainTuesday
