Great value for price!
It's great for unexpected feral cats, and even indoor cats if under a tight budget. They don't love it, but it's kept them from starving. I get the similar large canned pate food to mix a little into it so it gets eaten much more quickly. Does seem to have some grain bugs when not eaten all up quickly. Again this is why mixing a lil can in makes it better for them and myself. Tastes better that way for them, and gets eaten before grain bugs come out of it. Overall decent for those on a budget who want to help abandoned cats.

I used to buy this and it used to be really good everybody ate it. now I buy it and it is a different color and nobody eats it. I feed feral cats in three places they all started losing weight because they refused to eat this stuff and so I had to go to the feed store and buy a different brand. I hope someday they'll go back to the regular formula and me and the cats will both be happy. Until then I will not be buying this again.

    the product is great and i will continue to buy it but I would suggest dropping FedEx as your carrier. i order this 44lb bag of outdoor cat food for the stray cats to be delivered because it is heavy. today fedex drops it off at the end of my driveway which is a good size walk. not only did they leave it no where near my house or porch but i watched them just throw it out of the truck and take off. this is very unacceptable

    New packaging spills cat food everywhere
    They changed the way bags are sealed, and it is terrible. The bottom seam has opened up on several bags I've bought, and cat food just runs out when you carry or pour from the top of the bag.

    My feral cats new favorite
    I feed about 40 cats and I'm on a budget. Until prices went up I fed another brand which was their favorite after trying several. When cash ran low I bought this hoping they'd eat it, unlike a few name brands. At the first feeding I put out pans mixed with their old favorite, pans of only their old favorite and pans of only this. I was amazed as this one became their new favorite.

    Barf, barf here...barf, barf there....everywhere
    You know there is something wrong with this food when the racoons and blue jays will not even eat it. My indoor cat ate some and barfed EVERWHERE. Will not buy again since it makes the cats outside sick and there does not seem to be many critters that can tolerate this crap of food. You do not want to see the photos of the barf. I feel so guilty for feeding this to my stray cats...it made them so sick.

    This cat food is fine for my barn cats. As I know no other way to express my displeasure with the shipping, I must use this platform. I would like to know who the genius was that decided to ship a box of toaster pastries and two boxes of cereal in the same box as a 44 lb bag of cat food. I now have toaster crumbs and cereal dust!!!!!

    I have been feeding my outdoor cats this particular outdoor dry cat and all my outdoor cats seem to enjoy it. Im glad it comes in 44lb size- we help take care of a large quantity of outdoor cats and they can go through our cat food supply quickly. This is inexpensive as well! Great price!

    I live in a small town where there are hundreds of stray cats unattended to. My Social Security doesn't cover much so I'm limited on how much I can feed. I try to buy 2 bags of Special Kitty Outdoor Formula Cat Food... One 44 lb bag to keep in my car as I drive around and feed the strays, and one in my home to feed the strays closer to me. All of the cats seem to really love it as opposed to some other foods. I've tried 2 different foods in separate bowls put out together and they go for the Special Kitty Outdoor dry food instead of the other one. I truly appreciate the lower cost for the amount of food as it helps me to be able to care for those neglected. The picture posted is one of the mistreated cats. I named him George. Someone shot him in the eye with an arrow. It took a year for him to let me pet him. Now he lets me rub his tummy

    Very grateful for delivery
    Delivery was a day late because of a FedEx issue but it all arrived in good condition. Best product when you get stuck with 25 stray cats to feed because they eat a bag a week and local stores rarely have more than one bag so was grateful I could have it delivered and not have to drive 80 miles one way to find out I couldn't get what I needed. Thank you for delivering.
