Great Buy!!!!!!!
My son is 5 yrs old and this is his first basketball goal in the driveway. He absolutely loves it! The height adjusts so easily for him. I shopped around the Internet and did much research before purchasing this goal. This is the best product and price for what we need it for. Basketballgoals.com was even $100 cheaper (along w/ free shipping) than some of the other websites with the same exact product. I highly recommend this goal!!!! By the way, it did take more bags of concrete than what the instructions suggested. Make sure you have 4 or 5 extra bags handy before you pour.

    great hoop
Overall a great hoop and very sturdy. No worry of the hoop falling down with high winds. I would recommend this. Few suggestions to make installation easy: While assembly was not hard, I faced big challenge to put the hoop in ground (last step). Challenge: after concrete is cured inside the pole, the whole hoop is quite heavy. Definitely need two people to lift and put in the sleeve (in ground). Here, another challenge I faces to align the hoop in the in-ground sleeve . While we managed with a help of a third person, it was the toughest part of the entire assembly. At one point we almost dropped the hoop on driveway. Suggested Improvement: While, the manual does not say it, I have below recommendation for filling up pole with the concrete (this is pretty much last step before you can put the hoop in ground). 1. Once assembled, pour concrete to fill up bottom third of the pole only. Push the hoop up to 90 degree at least for few minutes so concrete goes all the way down. Without this, it is possible concrete may get stuck in the middle (as there are bolts that cross the pole and may act as obstruction to concrete). I suggest to do this to avoid concrete bulging out from the bottom of the pole. 2. Once this one third portion concrete is cured (several hours), put the hoop in the ground hole (sleeve). 3. Now use a ladder to pour concrete in the pole to fill up remaining portion. This will make it much easier to complete the installation. Enjoy!

    Rate for customer Advocate
Your customer advocate was very rude and unprofessional. Everything from snotty remarks to hanging up on me. The product I received was broken and there was bad customer service. You guys need to work on things!

    I expected better
Backboard acrylic was very thin and warped and had many scratches. I kept as it will serve its purpose outside, however for a brand new product I was very disappointed.

    Outstanding, The Kids Love it!
We bought this for the kids and was not sure of the quality. The backboard and the hoop is top quality material. We also bought the adjustable bracket and that was sturdy and a great match for the backboard. Everything was included no matter which application you needed for your court. It took a few hours to assemble and the quality of the parts was better than I ever expected. TOP NOTCH

    Great hoop for the price
This is a decent hoop. The instructions as others have mentioned are a little rough. My only complaint with this system is the noise from the adjustment bars when you take shots. I remedied this by wrapping the inner tube in two spots with a thin felt tape which keeps it from banging metal on metal. Other than that it is great so far. Love the inground sleeve for future removal.

    Extremely Impressive for the Money.
This is the real deal! Once you have it setup, which isn't easy, you have a quality basketball goal good for many years. A friend of mine installed this model two years ago and it still looks new! I had to get one for myself and kids! Setup isn't bad if you consider yourself a handyman. Take your time, lay out the parts and review the instructions. They are NOT perfectly clear, so make sure you understand the task before you begin. First of all, if you dig the requisite 18" x 24" hole, you'll need 420 lbs of concrete exactly. That's 7 x 60lb. bags. They suggest filling the tube with concrete, but my friend and I have both found that it's not really necessary. If needed, you could always fill it after the install. Adjustment is light and easy due to the springs so even the smaller kids can play. It's got a spring loaded rim that is plenty strong and provides a gym like firmness when the ball hits it. The crystal clear backboard is just icing on the cake for this wonderful product. At this price[...] it's a no brainer!

    Quality Backboard
We installed this backboard using the U turn Lift system on a wood post. It works great. The backboard looks great, and is similar to the full size backboards in indoor gyms. It is much nicer than any of those portable systems. My son and husband are thrilled to be playing with this backboard rather than the previous 44" portable one we had that rusted and died. I will say that the instructions that were included with this were pretty poor, but it is not a difficult install even with crummy instructions.

    This product met my expectations
Great hoop system. Good quality for the price I paid. The hight adjustment works well my kids like it. Good size back board. You should have a fair amount of mechanical skill to assemble it and get it in the ground. Mine turned out great!
