I LOVE THIS BED!!!!
I absolutely love everything about this platform bed! It was incredibly easy to put together and it looks gorgeous in my room. The drawers are big enough to store a ton of stuff in and bed itself is very sleek and modern looking with ultra clean lines. this was a fantastic deal and I am completely and utterly satisfied with my purchase. Great value and I highly recommend this product!! Oh and with the ship to store it only took one week to arrive and everyone at the store was very helpful in helping me get the box into my truck. The way the bed is packed, it is very convienant and does not take up much room at all. The bed is very heavy and if you have to take it up stairs, remove the pieces from the box first (That's what we did) and carried the pieces up the stairs in stages.

It arrived with the corners all crushed in. Material is pretty cheap. Instructions are not easy to follow.

    Annoyed- don't buy it
First it came damaged. Wood chipped at like every corner... the bed took pretty much all night to put together cuz instructions are not that great. And once I put the platform pieces together none of them lined up, there are 4 of them so once all compete it's not all straight it's like edged cuz none of them lined up together they are so off if u walk passed it u can hit a corner and get hurt.. I'm just super annoyed cuz it took so long to build and it doesn't look good at alll and my daughter was so excited for it. Idk if I'm going to go through the trouble of returning it cuz it's built.. probably will just use it for awhile and get something else.. so disappointed. Look at photos below at pics how the boards don't line up.

You will want your money back
This bed broke only 1 week after putting it together. The wooden pieces to hold the mattress cracked on all three. The mattress fell right in. I am currently trying to see if a return is possible.

    2 Flaws
It looks great but there are no raised edges like other platform beds out there, to keep the mattress from sliding off. The drawers are very flimsy there are only dowels and one screw supporting each of the four sides. We reinforced by adding more screws and using wood glue to make them sturdy. In the picture I show how the mattress slides off and the 2 black screws are the ones we used to reinforce the flimsy drawers.

    Not a good buy
The materials and design of this bed make it incompatible for couple use. My partner and I slept on it for less than a week before it fell into disrepair. We spent four hours putting it together (the manual was also terrible) and ended up having to trash it within a month. The added storage space sacrifices a lot of support, leaving this product only useful for a petite person with no sex life. I would spend a little more to get a stronger wood or metal frame.

Good bed, cheaply made, came with visual damage.
Pretty much every corner of the plate visible under the mattress were cracked. Looks really bad because of that. I try to avoid turning on the lights because of it. I had it shipped to my appartment. Didn't see the damages until the foundation was completed. Could be blamed on the shipping. But still that shouldn't be my problem. Every corner had damage. Was to frustrated to return it. Just a poor quality and you just get what you pay for. Not much. Drawers are quite small. It comes with a touch-up pen witch is not a good sign but it really didn't do me any good because the damage was on the corners of all the 4 plates making the whole foundation for the mattress. Beside the visual quality of the material the bed is solid and pretty nice in that matter.

    To Be honest....
This bed is a temp bed for us until we move and buy a better quality bed frame. So we didn't really expect too much... 1. It does take some time to build (personally i did not receive all pieces so we improvised) 2. One of the boards arrived broken ( my bf just made something similar to replace it)( Too heavy too return this thing) 3. It does hold up once built. We have a queen size 13 in foam mattress weighing approx 130 lbs then myself at 145 and my bf at 210... We've had it like 3 weeks now and no breaking down. 4. Its not the best quality but like i mentioned earlier , we weren't expecting much. 5. The drawers do actually work...and hold a few items... So overall my suggestion is if you can build it and not have to rebuild it you'll be OK. You might want to pick this item up with someone else to not break your back. And lastly, don't have high expectations and you'll be happier! :)

    Perfect for the price.
I spent a lot of time looking around for different beds. I decided on this because of the price and appearance, it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. After reading a lot of reviews on here, I was growing uneasy about the bed. A few customers received damaged parts and some said that assembly was close to impossible. However, I found that neither of these allegations were true for my experience. The bed comes completely un-assembled in a 7.5 foot long package. I fit it in a Ford Ranger and was able to transport it relatively easily with two people carrying and one person helping. I unwrapped all the packaging and, inside the box, everything looked very neatly organized. I would recommend taking all the pieces out, if you have the room, and laying them out. The directions are in no way as complicated as people are making them out to be. Anyone who has ever played LEGO's as a child should be able to handle this. Every piece has a label written on the edge and the directions include a full diagram of where every piece goes right on the first page. I made a photocopy of this to reference while I turn the other pages. I found it very helpful to, before screwing or installing anything, lay out all the foundation pieces according to the diagram picture. Assembly took me (alone) about 3 hours. TAKE YOUR TIME!!! If you don't have at least 3-5 hours to commit to assembling this, I would strongly suggest putting it off until you have the time. Once the foundation was setup, I then moved onto the drawers. These were actually a bit bigger than I had anticipated. Many people complained about the metal ball-bearing shaft used to move the drawer in and out. This MUST SEPARATE into two pieces BEFORE you screw it in. Once I separated the pieces, I found that the drawer assembly was the easiest part about putting this together. Lastly came the cover pieces. The slab comes in four long pieces. This was the most intimidating part of the assembly. In the packaging, you are provided with two small blocks to measure the distance each side piece should hang over. I did not find that very helpful at all. I would have liked if there were notches or something to align these pieces. Once they are on, you simply screw them into the foundation. Don't screw this up, because particle board is very unforgiving when it comes to multiple attempts. Once the bed was assembled and complete, I loaded the mattress on. A Queen-sized mattress takes up pretty much the entire platform, with a small edge running around. It looks very nice and I was impressed. I read some reviews that said people smack their legs on the corner. I disregarded this but, apparently, don't have the dexterity I thought I did because I've already smacked my leg on the corner a few times. To fix this, I took some cotton balls and put them around the corner, and used electrical tape to affix them. The mattress does slide around on the platform. To counter this, I plan to buy a rubberized mat (like what you see under carpets) and put that between the bed and mattress. All-in-all, I can say that I am very impressed with this platform bed. It is definitely not ever leaving my room. I doubt that this bed will ever re-assemble if it has to be moved, so make sure you're ready to have that bed in your room long term. I would definitely buy this again, and was happy with my purchase.

    A Damaged Bed
This bed came damaged, but I thought I could handle it. It was very complicated and almost impossible to follow the instructions. When it was all done, the bed looked horrible. Thank God a mattress & comforter cover it! I should get reimbursed for a portion of the cost anyway.
