Awesome and fun!!!
They are awesome headsets I bought three of them for my kids!!! And worth the price!!! You can't beat it!!!

GREAT SOUND :) CHEAP CONSTRUCTION :(
I was thrilled to receive my new Sony headset, and couldn't wait to put them to the test. Pulling them out of the box they felt great, and seemed fairly well constructed for the material used to make them. Setup was very easy, and in no time I was enjoying quality 7.1 surround sound. I loaded up Battlefield Hardline to test drive the sound quality online and in game. Once again it did not disappoint.
However, it was about 2-3 days later that I went to pick up the headphones and place them on my head, only to find out that the band holding the ear pieces had cracked directly in the center. Needless to say I am very upset and thoroughly disappointed in this Sony products construction.
I still have my Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 (backwards compatible), plus tons of accessories and games and in excellent working condition. I take great care of my things, and would have never expected after such a long and successful run with Sony products that this would happen. Apparently I'm not alone. I love the sound, but that is where I have to draw the line here. Being a diehard Sony customer that has never even picked up an Xbox controller, I say this with a heavy heart...Do to reading further reviews that all reflect the same problems, I would NOT recommend this particular Sony product.

They are a bit snug on my sons head (hes 10yrs old) it might be because of all the cushioningon he ear pieces. But it's a minimal problem. It was very easy to set up the headset to the ps4 console. Why these didn't come with the PS4 is a mystery to me. I bought one for myself, and one each for my son, and my daughter away at school. They make our game time together a bit better because we can hear each other very well, and the game sounds are very detailed and clear. There are some additional bells and whistles such as game specific sound profiles and virtual surround sound modes. I installed the PS4 app for the headset, and used the default gaming sound profile. Once I adjusted the chat volume and the game sounds volume to my liking, I haven't had to touch any other settings for great sound. also they are comfortable enough for hours of gameplay at a time. Initially, they felt 'cheap', but are not. The lightweight design falsely gave me that impression. I now appreciate how light they are compared to my "heavy" feeling PC headset.MMAC2k

However, it puts a lot of pressure on your ears and the ear pads tend to get really warm after only wearing them a short time. I really like the volume controls and the ability to change chat vs game volume from the inline remote. Also, these have a much greater overall volume than my previous headset.dasminkar

I've had mine for only EIGHT WEEKS and the head band cracked just exactly where the other reviewers said it would...at the top, center of the headband. (My hat size is 7-1/4) The headsets are definately a SNUG fit. I'm sure they would be very comfortable for a smaller, teen sized head. BUT after an hour of use, it is just too painful to wear the headsets any longer. I won't be replacing the Silver headsets with another pair of the same. I'll do some shopping even if it costs a few more dollars. SONY...take care of this recurring defect.Domino

Overall it's a great headset, but I wouldn't recommend wearing it for extended periods of time or to often.Flagal2k16

Both may be a valid concern but with some care and a little ingenuity like placing the headset on a PS game box when not in use to stretch them out a little, I think these headsets are great. Build seems good, wire connecting to the headset a little thin so I would recommend a black zip tie to the headset band to ensure the wire doesn't break like on my last pair of turtle beach headsets. Got these for $20 and for that price I don't think there's another headset that can come close to this one. Even if it was a bit more I would still opt for official PS gear over some aftermarket (TB headset lasted almost a year before cord twist caused audio to stop working and they were $50 headphones).Bonedaddy002
