Excellent battery life!
I have used this speaker for a few days, and I like it a lot. The battery life is AMAZING; it is the best speaker I've owned so far. It was easy to connect to Bluetooth, and the sound is good for what I am using it for. The colored lights are pretty, and I like that it is portable. I can play this speaker very loudly if I want to and that is very impressive. Overall I am very happy with it.

Awful sounding speaker
The lights are a very nice feature on this speaker. Unfortunately the sound is not. Straight out of the box this speaker is very flat riddled with bass and that's all you can hear. The battery capacity also highly inaccurate as I got less than 4 hours of use before low battery indicator appeared. I returned this speaker after the first use

    Great sound all around
    We use this speaker out by the pool and simply love it. Impressive sound, particularly how well it sounds at higher volumes. The bass is great, especially considering how small the speaker is. The battery lasts for 5 hours plus and it really is waterproof as we found out.

    best base portable speaker
    I originally bought this speaker when it first came out Since then I bought 3 more best sound ever looks fantastic travels easily and lights up. The base is incredible. And you can pair the speakers throughout the house or the yard and really blow out the neighborhood

    Frikkin excited to use them for summer party.
    I can not believe my ears. Once I I set-up the equalizer to my preference and set up the volume to my liking, the sound is rich with base, treble etc....its unbelievable for the sound thats coming out from something portable and so small. Great job Sony....keep it up...I bought anothenone right away after I receive my first one. I save $200 combined on both....they use to be $178...I am very satisfied and happy. Thank you.

    Pairing capability
    Works well independently. It seems like the unit only applies "stereo" mode with a similar model ( SRS-XB33 to SRS-XB33). It can connect (party) with multiple speakers, but it doesn't seem to apply stereo mode when linking different models. SRS-XB33 with SRS-XB23 .

    I love it!
    I've always liked Sony products. I expected this speaker to be awesome, but I was amazed by the quality and I still am. The apps to control it are very functional and fun to use.

    not worth the money
    wasn't as loud as the display unit and cant connect to my computer plus the left side speaker was loose when i recieved it so not completely satisfied in the product so in my opinion not worth the money i paid which was $128 and my little jbl speaker for $30 is just as loud

    Sound and battery-life is unmatched
    The XB33 portable speakers are nothing short of amazing. The sound is crystal clear and are a thousand times better than my car speakers. The bass is very robust and resonates well without simply thumping for the sake of being a deep, hard bass. My coworkers often request songs to add to my playlist because they prefer my speakers over their personal ones. Live mode is something I've never experienced before. It was hearing music in a whole new way- I felt like I was at a festival and the sound was projected in all directions. The battery is most impressive- I've used it continuously for 7 hours with only a 10 percent battery drop. I love how the device is waterproof and dust-proof- no more worries bring it along for the beach, by the shower, or poolside. I do wish the device was a little smaller to easily store for an toting or trip. It's about a foot long and is quite heavy- but that's the price of high quality sound. The light show of fairy impressive and gives an extra umph to any party. I absolutely LOVE this speaker—- highly recommend!!!!
