Misleading and damaged product
Firstly, I'll start by saying My Gf bought this for me thinking it was the model pch-2000 as it was listed in the description saying that it was the model 2000 version, but they sent me a damaged model pch-1000 (older version) and I'd really like to get a full refund because this model was damaged and not even what she was wanting to get me.

    My kids loved this game
Item arrived sooner than advertised. I gave it 4 stars because other places sold this in a bundle with games for just s few more bucks. Overall I'm happy with the purchase

    Not to bad
Online is the only way to shop at Walmart. As a dedicated Walmart hater the only thing that drew me to purchase from them was that they had the item and guaranteed shipment in time for Christmas. Item shipped quickly and arrived sooner than expected. Sure beats dealing with with rude customers and lousy customer service that I've almost always experienced in the store.

    Really glad i got this!
I'll be honest, I bought this for myself.... but my son gets more use out of it than I do. It's come in handy for taking him to the grocery store with me (he has autism and shopping is not an easy thing to get done with him).... this distracts him well enough that I only deal with one or two meltdowns while shopping :) .... There's a wide selection of games online, I wish you could get Tiger Woods PGA Tour or PGA Tour Masters for it and I'd be happy as a clam... but I settled for Hot Shots golf and it's 'meh'. We mostly just play Lego Jurassic Park and Minecraft with it. The battery lasts a LONG time.... a few DAYS playing Minecraft. I didn't like how it felt in my hand, so I did purchase a trigger grip for it, and it feels a little more like a PlayStation controller that way, but the buttons stick with it. You have to be careful buying accessories for it because most of what i could find at Walmart were for the original Vita, and this is the updated version so the size is different. It's easy to use, easy to set up, battery lasts a long time, graphics are great for being such a small screen (the screen is roughly the same size as the screen on an iPhone 6s+ . Would I buy it again? You betcha.

    A PlayStation Plus Must Have
I've been delaying purchasing a PS Vita for a while due to the price, but Walmart had a great deal on it. Amazon did too, but Walmart made it convenient for me to order it and pick it up the same day. I've had the PlayStation Plus membership for a couple of years now and I've been waiting for so long to play some of my free downloads. The Vita makes it so easy to quickly play a game. The PS4 Remote Play option is a must if your PS4 is in the family room and everyone else watching something else on it. My only complaint is I wish it came with a memory card. I would advise you get one and some type case for it

    Great
I have been playing games on my phone thinking there was no reason to buy a portable game system but, now that I have it I regret not buying it sooner.

Great but it's very niche overall.
Let me start by saying I love my PS Vita and depending on what you're looking for, would most likely recommend. But there are quite a few issues and bumps I believe you should know before picking one up. First off is memory cards. If you want to download games from the online PS store you will need to buy a memory card which are proprietary and expensive. For example an 8GB SD card usually costs about $5 but for the vita cards 8GB is about $25. And seeing that some games take almost 8GB on there own you can see where the trouble begins. For example borderlands 2 is 6.5 GB and .5 GB is always taken by the system so a 8GB card become 1GB very fast. I have a 64GB card which are hard to find and are usually upwards of $80. The other issue with the Vita is the support from developers. Although there is a decent sized library, Sony themselves no longer creates games for the system meaning you won't see any new games that really take full advantage of the hardware, at least from Sony. You might see some big budget Japanese games release but for the most part the only new games are independent (indie) games that are also released on just about every system. If you get over those two hurdles though, this system is awesome. The screen is high res and it runs games very smoothly. The controls are very comfortable and it's my personal system of choice to play many games as handhelds for me at least feel more engaging. Games like terraria, hotline Miami, and spelunky may also be on Xbox ps4 or PC but overall I like playing them on the Vita instead. Also the battery life is very good. You'll easily get 6+ hours of gaming even on higher volume and brightness settings. Despite the strong battery the system is overall very light as well. It's easy to carry around and doesn't really get in the way or anything, although I do recommend a carrying case because the thumb sticks can get in the way and possibly break off while putting it in a bag or pocket. If you're looking for a fun system to pass the time and are willing to pay the premium for memory cards, and deal with the lack of new big hit titles then this system is really cool. But if you don't feel content with the games that are already released or a slew of Japanese rpg games than I would say to give this a pass and go with a 3ds/2ds or maybe a better smartphone.

    Great!
Bought this as a gift for my 19 year old brother--he loves it. Works really well interfacing between the PS4 and itself and he uses it all the time. One note is that the memory card (that must be PS Vita specific) does not come with this, so you'll have to get one if you want to download anything to the console.
