Best Money Spent
Last fall I was diganosed with hearing loss in both ears. At that time they wanted to sell me hearing aids and I said no I wanted a second opinon before I purchased anything. Well, time went by, and my kids and everyone around me was noticing I could not hear them when they spoke. My son told me about a hearing aid that was reasonably priced and that no one could hardly see. So I searched the internet and came across these hearing aids. I purchased one for my left ear and was very very surprised at how easy it is to maintain them, size was small (although I bought smaller tubes because I have small ears)and I can hear so so much better. This is definately a great hearing aid and well worth the money. This is a great alternative to having to spend thousand of dollars. They work well for me and I believe if you have mild to moderate hearing loss, they will do the same for you.

Good basic hearing aid for the money.
I put off buying hearing aides from the outfit that my doctor sends you to because the prices are so expensive. I got a pair of hearing aides for half of the price that one would have cost me through my doctor's office. When you have worn them for awhile, you almost forget how much they are helping you hear things until you take them off and things get quieter. I only wish they had an off button that worked with the volume control. The only way to turn them off is to pull out the battery.

    Seems to really help.
I first bought the in the ear model but they seem to make my ear hurt after a while so I returned them and got this behind the ear model, they are really great . I can hear good with them they're very comfortable and I don't even know I'm wearing them. The batteries are now 10 days old and still going strong. I wear them 10 to 14 hours a day. My hearing is such that I can't understand people often times, that has improved greatly. I can now listen to the TV without turning it up real loud, and I can hear the birds singing when I go outside. I think the hearing quality is a lot better with these behind the ear models then the one that fit in the ear. These Aids are one third the cost of the ones my brother bought and he doesn't like wearing his. That is my impression of these aids after 10 days now as far as long term will just have to wait-and-see. I tried the in the ear model for three weeks then return them and got these, they are my first experience with hearing aids, I have cut my what did you say by 90% ,So far I am happy happy happy.

    very satisfied so far
I have had my new Simplicity hearing aids for about a week, and I don't wear them every day. But they are comfortable, and increase my ability to hear noticeably, even on the low level. There are a few high pitched noises that I now hear that I didn't want to hear, such as the door which needs a spot of WD-40. Also, a very minor complaint, they should give you a blue container for left and a red container for right, but they gave me two reds. I have not yet followed the directions for daily cleaning. One day there was cerumen on the plastic tube which I picked off with my fingernail. The price was great, especially compared with the price the audiologist wanted to charge for the Widex brand she was pushing.

    Hearing Aids for my mom!
I ordered these for her in hopes that they would work, and she wouldn't have to pay $3,600 for some from the doctors office. They work perfectly and she loves them. I can't say they are as good as the doctors office because she never wore those, but she likes these and since I paid for them, I liked the price.

I have hearing loss in my right ear. I have had a lot of ear infections and when allergies are acting up my hearing in that ear is worse. I bought the right ear hearing aid and am using it on the lowest setting, sometimes the second setting. The first time I drove in the car with it on I could hear the turn signal noise - something I never heard without the hearing aid. It is VERY helpful to me at work. I am able to hear conversations better. My family has noticed a big difference - they comment that when they talk they don't get the "blank stare" from me anymore..LOL. When there is wind I get a little feedback but I just take it out at those times. It is very comfortable. I lifted my hair up to show it to some people and they said that they couldn't even see it. I wish that I would have bought this years ago.

Works better than I hoped for
A "Certified Audiologist", who must have previously been a used car salesman, tried to convince me that my hearing was worse than it is, and that I needed two $2900 hearing aids. Besides that he could not get the test pair properly setup. I decided to give 1 Simplicity a try. It turns out that on the lowest setting just one of these helps significantly. I cannot believe how good these work. I highly recommend them.

    Affordable hearing aid
I have high frequency loss and had a lot of trouble misunderstanding words. Because I already had an audio-graph from work, I pick a hearing aid on my own. The reviews on this model indicated that it was good at bringing out the highs while keeping what I could hear from blasting. I went ahead and ordered it along with the pair of left/right tubes with several ear cones. When it arrived, made sure I had no wax build-up and read the instructions. Since my right was better than my left, I started there with the included medium vented cone. I was surprised at what I was missing. Over the next week or so I used it in the right with the memory set to 2. Then I switched to my left ear. I wore it for two days on the left and had to use memory 3 and 4. This created a lot of feedback so I replaced the vented cone with the large double non-vented cone. I could leave it set to 4 all day with very little feedback, even with my wool cap on. The included battery lasted 10 days of 12-14 hour a day use. So, bottom line, no doctor fees, about $550 invested and I am able to HEAR!! The only reason a gave it 4 stars is because it does not have tune-ability like some of the higher end aids. But it does the job for me and even if it didn't work out, I could have returned it.

Best purchase I ever made for myself.
Have been very happy with the hearing aid; it has made a drastic difference in my everyday life. I can now hear conversations more clearly and don't have to keep saying "What ? or "Huh ?", and don't have the TV blasting anymore. Sounds are very clear and I can not even feel it in my ear. Thank you, Walmart, for giving me an affordable alternative, as I just could not afford the $1500-$2000 one that my hearing professional suggested.

    great product
I bought this product for my wife. She is 34 and began loosing her hearing over the last few years. With no medical reason for the hearing lost and not knowing how to stop it, she was getting frustrated with not hearing normal conversation out of one of her ears. She always had ringing and buzzing. I took her to the ENT doctor and she saw the audiologist. We were going to get the hearing aid through them. the price was 1800.00 for the basic one. Our insurance would only cover 1250.00 and we would still be out of pocket for the rest. After I saw this, I call my insurance company to see if they would cover it and they said that they would cover the entire cost up to 1250.00. it was the best move we made. She placed it in her ear and her smile said it all. She was so happy that she was able to hear and the TV dose not have to be loud any more. Thank God for that. She is so ecstatic and was pleased that she was able to use the phone in that ear and able to hear everything. Great product for a great price. Thanks to Wal-Mart for carrying it and thanks to the company Simplicity for such a great product. Thanks, thanks, thanks.
