Awesome Basketball Hoop
This is an amazing basketball hoop! It's a glass backboard and not some cheap quality model so it makes my driveway look so much better. It's a professional quality and can easily be height adjusted. It also comes with an anchor kit so if we move I can take it with me. I'm pumped to have this. Awesome goal for sure.

Nice goal. Does have a little wobble due to the heavy glass backboard. Definitely needs 4 people to mount the backboard. $599 is a good price.

    I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into when I bought this (54" Silverback) because some of the reviews made it sound like installation was really difficult. But, I found that if you have the right tools it really wasn't that bad. This hoop looks great and is incredible to shoot on compared to our old portable hoop. There is a little wobble if you slam the ball into the backboard or rim, but not enough to slow down normal play. We found if you swish everything though, you don't have to worry about any wobble at all. The hoop does say that you should not dunk on it. So, if you need a dunkable hoop you will have to upgrade even more. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. I hope this lasts a long time. The hoop was the same price($599) on Amazon, but found it was easier to have the hoop delivered to the Walmart close to our house and go pick it up as opposed to trying to schedule a delivery. Here are some tips that might help. 1. We live on the Western side of Colorado, so we dug a 16"x16"x36" hole for the cement and base. I dug the hole about 8-12" from the existing slab. We used a hand held auger and a post hole digger to dig the hole. This took about 30 minutes. Ground was nice and wet before I dug. 2. My brother suggested we use Quickrete 5000(commercial grade) for the hole. Bought 12 bags just in case, but only ended up using 5. But, I can return the rest. Also bought a plastic tub in the cement aisle at Home Depot to mix the concrete in. Used a hoe to mix the concrete. The hoop does come with 4 pieces of rebar. We added 2 extra. Not sure if it makes a huge difference,you but hoop is really sturdy. Concrete plus tub plus rebar was about $60 after I return the unused bags. 3. Made the form out of 2 x 4. We set the form on the outside of the hole to make it almost level with our existing concrete slab. Make sure your ground on top and the 2x4's are level. This made the concrete level, which made the post level when we attached it. Cementing the hole took about an hour and a half with all the prep work. 4. We poured concrete on Thursday night. We Let the concrete cure until Tuesday. 5. On Sunday we slammed the posts together. This was way easier than I thought it would be. Took about 5 minutes. I do suggest a piece of MDF or other strong wood to slam the pole on. It does help to have 2 people to attach the pole, but you only need 1 to slam it together. 6. Monday, we put all the attachments on the pole(sawhorses and an extra person make this easier) and attached the pole to the concreted base. 7. Tuesday we attached the backboard. This was the part I was worried about. My dad has some scaffolding that we used to set the backboard on. We also had 2 ladders. My son (15) and I(45) stood on the scaffolding and held the backboard while my dad(73) put in the bolts. Once the 4 bolts were in, my son held the backboard and my dad and I tightened the bolts. The scaffolding made this part really easy. This part took about an hour including setting up and taking down the scaffolding and attaching the rim and bet. You do need at least 3 people for this part. If you have the right tools, this is really pretty straight forward and I do not consider myself handy at all Good Luck and enjoy.
