Love this machine
I bought one of these for myself before and I love it. It is so lightweight and it just glides so easily. I bought this one for my daughter, but she does not have it yet. I think she will love it, also.

NOT BUILT TO LAST LONG
I've really loved using this machine. I like to use it in between deep cleans and it helps keep my carpet looking like new. But, I can't get parts for it. The plastic on the bottom of the handle broke after only a few years and it will no longer stand upright. I was told since they no longer make this model, they have no parts for it. It's a shame since all the electronic and mechanical parts do still work fine. These types of appliances are too expensive to just throw out when they could easily be repaired and made like new with a few small parts. This machine was not cheap, the cleaning solution is not cheap, the accessory bottles and pads were not cheap. But, I have no incentive to replace it with another of the same if they won't stock parts. Plastic has a shelf life and breaks down after a few years. It's sad and wasteful that this little machine will end up in the trash because the plastic broke down.

    Energy cable on the handle
    I just bought a shark sonic duo, trying to follow the steps on the manual I've noticed that the handle was not "clicking" ....the cable that goes inside it's not folding or going into the tube.... how can I fix it?

    I have 2500 square feet of beautiful wood floors that I washed with a wet mop for 10 years. Now that I have the Shark my kids help and don't mind doing the task. I DO like it and find it does a good job.

    Will be used primarily for laminate wood floor. Other family member had a similar model and it worked well with their floors, both laminate wood and bathroom tile so decided to buy this for my own home. Great feature is the refillable bottle for cleaner.

    This is one awesome hard floor cleaning machine! You can use microfiber towels instead of the pads, just put the rough side of the towel next to the machine and clean away! I bought 2 from Walmart for around $72.00 and not the 92.31 that is advertised now. Love the machine!

    This Shark Sonic Duo is a wonderful product. Don't be fooled into buying the more expensive model - they're identical. This is a great price and it really works. The only thing I'd improve upon is its grout cleaning skills, but that wasn't why we bought it so it's okay. It does a great job cleaning up after spills and messes (after first drying them), and just doing maintenance floor cleaning. We bought it for the hard floor cleaning abilities and it works like a charm! Also, don't be fooled into ordering Shark cleaning solutions from other websites. Amazon sellers want to charge $70+ for the concentrated solution! Just buy it from the actual Shark website, where it's a very affordable $8.50.

    My entire downstairs is hardwood and tile. I did not enjoy lugging my carpet cleaner downstairs to deodorize a rug that my dog loves to roll & rub on. I bathed him weekly, sprayed my carpet with fabric freshener after vacuuming & even tried sprinkling baking soda prior to vacuuming. I still smelled dog. I wanted something lightweight & quick. This is the answer. I use the sonic duo weekly after I bathe my dog. My house smells fresh & clean! It is lightweight & easy to use. I also use it on my tile & hardwoods. The cleaner bottles are easy to switch for carpet/tile/hardwood. I made my own homemade no rinse carpet cleaner & it works/smells great! If it voids the warranty that is ok; for the price I paid it will be worth buying it again. If I could not use my own cleaner I would not have purchased it. Wish I had known about the duo before now. It's like scrubbing your floors by hand but having the duo do it for you!

    I ordered this because of the price. I was concerned it would be a streamlined version, but was pleased that all the stuff I needed was in the box. I even called sharkninja to ask if how it differs from the kd450wm (which is quite a bit more expensive) and they assured me the machine itself is identical. I received: one each of carpet and hard floor concentrate (enough to dilute to 3 bottles of solution each, and my average house used only 1/3 of a bottle ofeach to complete); one bottle of hard floor polish; one spray bottle of carpet pretreatment; and one each of hard floor cleaning, hardfloor Polish, carpet scrub, and carpet clean pads. I also own a shark steam vac and the the pads from this fit this machine turned sideways. It is smaller than I expected (which is good) and the swivel makes it very you maneuverable. The size make it perfect for stairs. Regarding solutions, i can not see why you couldnt use pinesol or any other no-rinse mopping solution. Sharkninja says you can't, but I am sure that is so they can sell solution. It works better than my steam mop for a dirty floor. But, I believe I will continue to use the steam mop too. On carpet it is better for spots than my Hoover max extract because it is so much easier to set up. I think it cleans better too, if you have a good vacuum.

    finally, a no mess carpet shampooer
    lightweight and very easy cleanup. just take the pad off the bottom and throw in washing machine. No tubes full of fibers and gunk. doesn't deep clean but cleans the top fibers of carpet great. took all the stains out . haven't tried on hard wood floors yet but would still highly recommend. comes with stain remover,carpet shampoo, hard floor cleaner and polish. after spending more time cleaning the machine than the carpet in the past, I quit buying carpet cleaners until I found this one. lightweight with dual headlights. Extra pads are also included. Great Value.
