this is right after coloring. i had dark 2 inch roots and bleach blonde prior to adding this color. i was pretty impressed with how the color ended up pretty even all the way around. Would recommend.

For the price I expected better
First, I love the color, but the packaging was taped together cheaply and shoddy. The point in the cap where you poke a hole into the color tube makes the hole too small, and I had to struggle with my arthritic hands to squeeze the color into the developer. It took me twenty minutes. Then as I was applying the color it was runny and drippy. It didn't smell good. I rinsed it, and applied the conditioner that comes with it, and it was runny too, rinsed right out and didn't condition my hair very well. The only saving grace of this product was the darkest brown color--it is an intense espresso shade. I probably won't be buying this again. For the price I expected better.

    Great stuff
    Shocked and very satisfied with the results of my hair. I had bright silver blonde with some roots. I used the medium ash color and it turned out exactly how I wanted it in just 30 minutes. My mom is a beautician and she said it looks great. She normally does my hair but I have been trying to give her a break as she is closer to retiring. Who knew this affordable kit would work. My hair is also healthy looking and soft from this treatment. I'm buying another to do another treatment bc I have very thick hair :)

    This stuff lasts!
    I love their ‘Dark chocolate' tone. I've been using it for 2 years now. It lasts, and my hair looks healthy and not dried out at all. There's no bad smell either. My only -maybe- complaint is that one box just barely gets my entire head of hair, but since it lasts, I'm usually only focusing on my roots. I also use it on my eyebrows, and it works phenomenally. I included a photo so you can see what the color looks like. It's got a very,very slight red undertone when outside in sunlight but I like that. My natural hair is the color of dead grass and grey lol.

    darker than expected still beautiful color
    *beware it does come out darker*so i got hazelnut expecting a redish brown like i wanted but i ended up with more of a darker chesnut brown even though i jave light nrown hair originally. I still ended up liking the color, I haven't done a darker color since highschool. it jas no ammonia or added salts that dry out toyr hair so that was a plus for me since my hair was all natural non treated. I gotta say it compliments my skin tone. different lighting will make this color look different too fyi.

    Salon Quality in your own bathroom!
    I am a newbie to the whole DIY hair experience. Getting my hair done had become too expensive, and I eventually stopped coloring my hair since it was last dyed my natural shady. I let my hair grow out for months, but decided that I needed a pick me up. Since going to the salon was pricey and it was always difficult to find an appointment, I headed to Walmart. I wanted to try something with simple ingredients because I was concerned about an allergic reaction. This brand stood out to me, but my shade wasn't in stock. I ordered it online and the shipping was even faster than I expected! Coloring my hair myself was an simpler process than I imagined. The application of this product was smooth and even. I may have missed a couple spots, but this blended seamlessly and had incredible coverage. The color itself is gorgeous. I have been buying this product ever since and I don't think I'll ever go back to another salon.

    I haven't dyed my hair in a long time, but decided on this, since most of the colors I wanted were out of stock. Normally, store bought brands make my hair nice for one day, then thins out and feels brittle. This felt healthy and soft days after, with no thinning. Looked really nice too.

    Simply Wonderful!
    This is probably the best black dye I've ever used (and I've been going black for over a decade). No awful smell, with a subtle pleasant floral scent and it feels so gentle on my scalp. Probably the most mess free application ever too; one or two small drips at the most. Not to mention, no stained scalp or hands! I absolutely love the conditioner; it made my hair super shiny. The end color is a very natural looking black, not too blue. I have naturally dark brown hair with warm undertone so some reddish hue comes through in the light. This will be my go-to dye from now on.

    Great natural color for dark hair.
    Love this hair color, it looks really natural on my dark hair. It may seem silly to dye dark hair just a shade darker, but it does make a difference and I'm happy that this color doesn't have obnoxiously red or blue undertones that most dark dyes do.
