Leap of Faith
This is a tough one. The owner is unable to see this product work. It does nothing on it's own even when exposed to direct sunlight. It MUST have a trigger to work. And, even then there is nothing to show it's working ! It's purely a leap of faith whether the thing works or not. Customers could be buying an empty rectangular plastic device that appears to be a solar panel. How would we know. It should be mentioned on the box that this device IS NOT an active solar panel. Sorry, i would NOT buy again.

    Works
Would be nice if it had some sort of working indicator and overcharge protection but it does work when checked with a multimeter.

Only had this for a month
I bought this to keep my battery charged on my truck that I don't drive very much. I have only driven it twice since I bought it and it cranked both times. I plug it into the cigarette lighter plug inside the truck. There is nothing to show that it is working. It needs a light that shows it is working. Only time will tell. That's why I only gave it three stars.

i found the 1.5 solar charger could not charge my trucks with ECM units on them. the 2.4 watts do a good job they keep the voltage up around 12.40 volts thanks

    Good but not perfect
I bought mine hoping to keep the battery charged and my pickup unfortunately it doesn't work so good with a diesel it may be the fact that there's two batteries so it can't put out enough charge otherwise it's a excellent by and I would suggest it to anyone with a car or a gas vehicle.

    Great For Battery Maintenance
Bought this for my ATV, keeps the battery charged up. I mounted it to the outside wall of my pole barn and plug it in to my ATV electrical hook up. Never worry about a dead or overcharged battery again.

    Exceeds my expections
Uesd for maintaining the battery on my welder/generator that powers my house when power outages occur. 20 volts and 4.8 amps output measured on a sunney day.
