Product was tampered with, in shipping not wallma
Check your products make sure they are sealed and not contaminated or tampered with!!! Mini sawyer water filtration system arrived three days late, presume because of weekend, unsealed and clam shells were partially closed product has definitely been tampered with, could not get through to corporate to make a record of this but one Walmart managers, promptly gave refund. Person who used this, on vacation definitely six from using it in the wilderness. We gave them the box and when they opened it, it was either use it then or dirty water from there camping area where they were. What a joke! Never order on a Friday because the three days they have there's no telling what the transportation and it was FedEx did to it. Definitely not good ! 12 unreturned calls to corporate , ordered in Wichita , came from Dallas Texas , fedex

    Great product, great price, smoking fast shipping.
    Always loved Sawyer Products, and the fact that the filters can be backflushed and reused would be invaluable in an actual emergency situation, but even for hiking, camping, etc. these products can't be beat, and the 4 pack is a great value. Also Walmart has always shipped fast, and dependably.

    Reliable filter
    Great filter, smaller than the usual size, however, it has good flow. Water taste is good. Haven't tested the water quality. We're also using the filter at home before the Brita.

    Probably works great. I hope I never have to use it. Like ever. Says it filters up to 100,000 gallons. If I had to drink only 100 gallons out of it, I would be happy. In the event of some sort of natural disaster, this is something I think anyone should have on hand. Just in case.

    Great Filter, Bag stinks!
    Great filter, adapts to most everything. Had to buy separate more permanent and reliable water bags (VERY expensive but I found a great buy on "EVERNEW" Brand, replacement 1/2 gallon triple layered poly water bags at CampSaver dot com) found the bags with a Google search. they have several sizes available. REGULARLY $40 EACH !!!! I GOT FOR $12.90 EA !!! These water bags are meant to last and are made to readily accept the Sawyer water filters. The clear bags left in the sun for 8 hours kills bacteria, ultra violet light from the sun! Happy Camping!

    Great filter, light and small.
    Used this little filter on a backpacking trip into the High Uinta Wilderness. It was very light weight, and packed very small. We filtered stream and lake water with no ill effects and no chemical taste. In fact my son and I agreed it was the best tasting water we've ever had. My only complaint was the squeeze bag. 1 way to use this item is to fill the squeeze pouch with dirty water and either dispense into you bottle or drink directly from the filter. The bag/pouch is very durable and advertises "16 fl oz". The down side is that the bag is too durable. Even with a flowing stream we could only ever get the pouch to fill up half way, under 8oz of water at a time. It made refilling a 1 liter bottle take about 5 or 10min. The concept and use of the bag works great, it just wasn't as big as I would've liked. I do think, however, that Sawyer sells larger bags and before my next backpacking trip I'll probably buy one. I liked the way it worked very much, I just wanted more volume. Another alternative I might use, is to find a standard water bottle that has a neck/thread size that will fit (1liter smartwater comes to mind). That way I can just dunk it into the dirty water, screw on the filter and straw, and drink right from the filter. Overall, for the price, it is a VERY good deal. I will probably purchase a 2nd filter for my son and would highly recommend it. 4 out 5 stars due to the too rigid squeeze pouch. And to be honest, if I could give it 4.5 out 5, I would.
