Good for first aparment
We got this futon as seating for our first post-college apartment. The futon arrives pretty much in one piece in a big box, and you just have to screw in the legs (no tools required!), which are in a compartment underneath. The box can be cumbersome if you're moving it on your own because it's so big, but with two people it's doable since it isn't very heavy. Product matches the picture on the website. It sits low - see the photo where I put a chair next to it for comparison. The upholstery fabric is thick, so if you're going to sleep on it put a sheet on it, but it cleans pretty easy. The padding isn't much - it's not uncomfortable, but it isn't plush either. The transition from sofa to bed is super easy and feels safe (unlike my mom's where I'm always afraid my fingers will get crushed!!). The bed fits one person, or maybe two small children, but unless you're really friendly I wouldn't recommend sharing. It isn't the most comfortable either - beats sleeping on the floor or even an air mattress, but I wouldn't recommend this as an long-term alternative to a bed. It isn't perfectly well-balanced when it's as a bed - if you are lying too far over, the bed will TIP. Since it's only 6in from the ground, it won't do much but roll you over and is easily fixable with some support underneath, but was really startling the first time! (It was really funny, though.) For the price, it fit our needs perfectly and I'm willing to overlook some of the flaws, but a few (tipping and height) keep me from giving it 5 stars.

Don't
Terrible. Terrible. Don't buy. Mine broke after less than 1.5 years of use. Their customer service kept asking me if I needed extra feet after I repeatedly told them that the seat slats were the problem. They don't have replacement parts and offer no support or help.

    Looks great!
The futon looks great, but is very hard. Took about two weeks to receive and delivery company was horrible. Would only drop off by the curb. Had to move up 2 sets of stairs by myself, so be prepared. The color is darker than the pic, but I like it even more.

I love the color, I love the way it looks & feels
After searching for the perfect inexpensive sofa/bed combo, I can honestly say this was a good purchase. I had the sofa shipped to my apartment (3rd floor). It's a huge and heavy package so if you don't have anyone to help you with it then I highly suggest having it delivered to your door. Setting up the sofa was super easy; just screw in the legs. The sofa itself is comfortable, the cushioning seems like it will last awhile, it can easily fit 3 people maybe even 4 people. The bed fits 1 person comfortably, and although it can fit 2 people it might feel a little compact. Overall - I love the color, I love the way it looks & feels, and if you were to compare this sofa to another similar sofa from Ikea I would suggest getting this one instead.
