I Love this Futon :)
I really love this futon&wish I had bought it much sooner. I sleep much better at night w/plenty of space to stretch out. It is a much better, cheaper and safer sleeping option. Not to mention stylish and convenient b/c I can also fold it into a sofa-style anytime I want.

It's so unclear product information,when I was buying showed as black Futon and when it was delivery information said futon frame and I got only frame and I paid 111 only for frame , while a futon including mattress comes from 120 up , and I wanted to return it but I had to pay 34 return charge . And J wanted to buy a mattress , showed up of 129 up. So I did not want to be so stupid to pay more than 250 to complete a futon. So I won't recommend anyone to buy from this site. It this product.

    Black Futon Frame
    I was quite please when I received this futon frame in a box as to how easy it was to assemble. Being a woman in her 60's I knew this could be a disaster. Instructions were very easy to understand and for the price of the frame, the quality of the frame was great. Excellent for a small room or dorm room.

    Good quality frame
    I had a futon frame like this in a lake trailer and I loved it. Unlike the brand my daughter had, this one was sturdy and flipped from a bed and back again more easily. Plus once it's a sofa, it stays a sofa. The mattress doesn't try to slide to the floor. When we bought a new house I looked high and low until I found this frame. I figured that since I loved the frame at the lake I wanted one in a spare room at this house. The price was higher than some of the other futon frames. But I didn't want to replace it in a couple of years. I figure this one will last. Saving me money in the end. I bought an 8" mattress that is foam and cotton. Really stuffed tight, just like at the lake trailer. I haven't slept on it yet, but it should be like the lake place. It was really comfortable and slept great.

    Scratchy, but Good
    Kids were jumping around on my old wood futon, and broke it. I had to get a new frame. I didn't want a wood frame after that. I wanted metal. I looked at various styles. I chose this one because the arm handles are rounded, and the kids won't cut themselves falling on the corners. I also spent more money to get this model because of the thicker metal. It's more durable and sturdy for heavy traffic. COMPLAINTS Shipping took a long time. The bed frame arrived with scratches in the metal arm rests. The directions to put it together were so-so. We got confused maybe two times and had to unbolt, and re-bolt. It took about an hour with two women putting it together so the assembly is easy. They only give enough bolts, screws, nuts, and washers to put it together - no extras. You can't lose not one piece because it doesn't come with any extra parts. It does come with tools so you can assemble it. You won't need to buy any tools. It's pretty simple. My other complaint about this model is that it is difficult to open/close. I have to take the mattress off just to get it to flip in or out. The reason why I gave this four stars is because I really like it. The kids love the futon and sleep on it every night. The main problems were 1. late delivery, 2. scratches in the metal arms, poorly written directions and won't open/close that easy, but overall we use it a lot. We like it. We recommend it.

    Works Great So Far
    Assembly was pretty easy, got it up in about an hour. Would have given it 5 stars but the U Shaped Brace piece came broken. Doesn't seem to be hindering the design or functionality of the furniture, but that doesn't make it ok that they send out stuff with broken pieces. Doesn't seem like it broke in transit, but that the broken piece was put in during packaging.

    Sturdy and Stylish Wish I had bought it sooner!
    Simple, stylish lines and sturdy material. When the package arrived there were no assembly instructions in the box. Not a problem though. I had bought the frame through Wayfair who provided excellent customer service. In an online chat through the Wayfair website a customer service representative had the instructions emailed to me in about 5 minutes. The frame was then assembled in under 30 minutes. Although it is used primarily as a sofa which I find very comfortable, it is very easy for one person to put it in the bed position. It is long enough for my 6 foot plus spouse to stretch out on. It took only a couple of days from the time I placed the order for this product until it was delivered.

    Only 1 Complaint
    The Futon Frame looks good and feels real sturdy. My only complaint is that to change it from a sofa to a bed or vice versa i have to take the mattress off. Because my mom has a futon (hers is wood), i expected to be able to switch from each position fairly easily. However, I do have a super thick and heavy mattress so that may be the problem as well. Below is the mattress that I purchased with it. It took me about and hour and a half to set it up. But it was fairly easy. My kids love it, and my main reason for picking this particular frame was because it was described as being sturdy. I've only had it for about 2 weeks in my childrens playroom, but it's holding up so far very well.

    much better than expected
    definitely took two people to assemble but instructions were understandable and nuts, washers and bolts were easily identified. The finished product greatly exceed my expectations and was superior to wood futons that cost twice as much.
