LOVE IT
We love the blu-ray player. Easy to install. Quality excellent. My TV is Samsung also so they coordinate wonderfully. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. Absolutely love it.

Would not recommend
This Blu-Ray player appeared to have a lot of good reviews and thought I read most of them. Found out how many others were experiencing the same issues I was when I looked up why the screen would continue to black out and indicate that there was no video available. I originally thought this was because I had a weak wi-fi connection as I was trying to stream Netflix. The problem was that the same black out and no video message would appear even when I was simply trying to watch a BR-DVD. Will be returning and do not recommend.

    I would recommend this blu-Ray player to anyone. I've owned three different ones and this one is by far the best.

    One of the biggest complaints about this unit is there is no indication if it is on or off. I have turned it off at the box and began watching network tv when all of a sudden it reverts back to the home screen of the DVR. Annoying, but for the price paid I can live with it. Other than that, everything seems ok thus far.

    Great picture BUT...
    You might have some trouble navigating the remote control {that is if you DON'T like reading manuals} . I couldn't even tell the unit was on because it doesn't have a "on/off" light on Blu-ray player itself, AND I had problems with the 3-D selection {but that could've been my error or because the glasses were from another Blu-ray player}. Besides from those small issues, that I'm sure in time I'll figure out, the picture and technology are top quality.

    I love this machine but it does not have a power on light. But it doesn't bother me and it has automatic shutoff so if you leave it on for so long it shuts off. The picture is very clear. It does not come with an HDMI cable. But the picture is very very good looking and sharp. I recommend this one.

    Good features for the price.
    The DVD player is compact with a small foot print. I have played both standard DVDs and Blu Ray DVDs and the DVD player has no problems with either type. I have also played DVDs that I made on my computer and the DVD player does well with those too. The DVD player is also a smart DVD player with WiFi. You can access streaming video from the internet with it, such as Netflix. Most new Televisions now are set up to receive steaming video from the internet, but if you had an older flat screen television without this feature, this DVD player would be a good way to add that feature. The WiFi on the DVD player seems to work pretty well. I have the DVD player set up at the other end of my house from the router and i do not have any problems with it dropping the signal. The only negative thing thing about this DVD player is that the remote is compact too. A person with large fingers, such as myself, has to be careful when pressing the buttons. But that was not a big enough issue to knock a star off in my opinion.

    We love it!
    Our old player paused constantly and was SO slow. THIS player is quick, efficient, and compact. We are all still so amazed and happy. Maybe it's sad that such a small piece of technology should bring so much joy but we love movies. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this! Tell your friends! Buy lots!

    Little Sister was right!
    I won this DVD player in a local paper contest and my sister was excited since she owns several Samsung tv's and audio products. I love the simple connections ( there are only three ports!) the ability to use wi fi or an the net connection in the back. Its about 12 inches square and for such a compact unit it performs flawlessly plus it has 3d! For the price and the features its a bargain you can't refuse to try. You tube- Amazon- Red Box-Netflix it works with them all. You need to try it and see it for yourself..

    Nice little player
    Bought this just before Christmas as my old Blu Ray player was acting up. Got this one on sale, good value for the money. Not the nicest looking player (corduroy look) but it is hidden enough that you cannot see it. One drawback so far is there is no light to tell if it is on or off.
