Damaged on arrival
The car seat arrived damaged, it was clearly a return from another customer. Even the box had old return labels on it from previous customer. Seems bizarre and pointless that Walmart would even both to send this to me. Returned the item via USPS.

    Affordable,light weight , and comfortable
    I bought this car seat in 2014 and now 2022. It's compact and comfortable. My first one I used it for both my kids since the expiration date was 10 years from when I bought it. I was able to keep them in the seat until about 3 years old. I currently rear face for my nephews and it actually keeps in place. The padding seems to be a bit better from the first purchase. I have this installed with two booster seats in my 16' accord. I recommended this seat to others and they seems to like it also.

    Better for front facing
    I don't like that the headrest has to be adjusted by removing straps I wish you just had a button to push and then you could slide it. The cup holder is removable which means it's super easy to come off it. Also the car seat cover does not fit correctly with the cup holder attached. Which for me is no big deal I just won't use the cup holder. It says that you can use this three wide in a vehicle but I drive a Chevy Trax and I could definitely not fit three of these in the back. In order for it to sit correctly and rear facing it has to lean pretty far back which basically makes my passenger seat useless. The only way to attach it is with a seatbelt, rear-facing it still moves quite a lot, it would be much better if it had anchors. I purchased this to use with my child as he's just barely old enough to be forward facing so I do need it to be rear-facing for a few more months until he's large enough to go forward facing. If you were purchasing this to be your facing for an infant I would not recommend. The padding provided is not significant for a newborn or little baby, in my opinion.

    Works for us
    My 10 month old grandson fits perfect in it. He now likes sitting in the car with it. He used to have a fit with the infant car seat. So glad it worked out for him.

    Nice car seat well padded has a good deep seat high sides for protection I did how ever dislike that it did not have the seat anchors so you could anchor it to your car seat only one for over the back seat you have to use your car seatbelt to run thru the childs car seat it still is a little lose not tight like with the anchors.

    Love this seat.
    Fits great in a small back seat and in our truck back seat too rear facing. We bought this for our 7 month old and bought the same one a few years ago and our 4 1/2 year old is still using it. Both fit great in back seat. I tried a cosco seat before this one and returned it and got this one. Very happy with this car seat.
