Built to last
Materials used to make this are of superior construction this is very well built I don't think I could ever wear it out but one thing for sure it does wear me out and gives me a good workout. Many many uses for this ball and several different exercises can be done with it. I would definitely buy it again. It will give you more of a work out than you would think.

pancake ball
Barely used this over the last year (maybe the issue) but it's disformed and misshapen now. Not great quality.

    Great addition to workouts!
I've never used one of these but I've found it to be a good addition to my workouts. It's good for slamming, or using against your lower stomach and doing hip thrust workouts. I really enjoy this slam ball and have noticed a difference in my workouts!! Would recommend.

SPRI SLAM BALL 20 POUND 9 KILOGRAM VERSION
If you want to workout in a hurry and need to hit cardio and some strength conditioning, this weighted ball will do just that! The basic principle is to pick the ball off of the floor in a lifting upward motion all at the same time. Only weighs 20 pounds, but once you get going say for 3 minutes straight, you will know you are working out. Doing 3x3 minute sessions with a 60 second break between sessions really gets the body going. It is up to the user to safely define what they will be able to do. Like any type of exercise gear, you need to get familiar with using it and work your way up to longer and faster moving sessions. Would not recommend using on walls unless they are made of concrete/cement. Use on the floor or if you a brave outside on a hard but clean surface like a tennis court. Fun way to breakup the workout routine!

    Works For My Purposes
It has stayed round after a couple of weeks use and less than a hundred slams I mostly do isometric exercises and yoga combined with stretching. When I want to do more I use this, slamming it on the basement floors and walls. My teenage son is using it when he's working out here instead of the gym. He uses it to slam and also with floor exercises.

Perfect weighted ball for your home gym
The SPRI 30 lb Durable No-Bounce Black Slam Ball is perfect for interval weight training with your biceps, triceps, core, legs, glutes, and full body. It is great for slamming exercises, squats, side-to-side twists, and lunges. The added exercise guide is also super handy if you can't think of any workouts ff the top of your heada. The rubber, textured surface of the ball makes it super easy to grip (which is essential with a weighted ball this heavy). I love having this as part of my home gym equipment, since it helps me mix up my workouts. The 30-pound weight is perfect - not too light and not too heavy. You can go slow and cycle through movements to see what works for you (to prevent any strains or pulled muscles). It truly flattens when slammed - there's no need for you to have to chase it around after doing a slam. I don't recommend letting your kids handle the 30 pound ball until they are used to holding this amount of weight (to reduce risk of accidents). I'm so impressed with the quality that I want to get a 10 pound and 20 pound version to add to my set.

I can really feel the difference.
I was happy to receive this SPRI Slam Ball 20 pound, in return for review. My old standby exercise was push-ups and planks. They kept me toned. However, 9 months ago, I fell and shattered my elbow. I required surgery and the only fix was an elbow replacement. I did many exercises in therapy and regained full movement and strength of my elbow fairly quick. The only downfall was that I could no longer lift full body weight. Once I received this slam ball, I started researching on the internet, to see what body areas it would help and different exercises that I could do. My abs need tightened and after the surgery, I ended up with a spare tire around my waist, that I just have to get rid of. I tried the exercise; to lift the ball straight above my head, then slam down on the floor. Then squat down to pick up. Then lift straight over my head and slam down again. This is really helping me. I can feel my abs and waist muscles tightening. It says it provides a full body work out and it really does. It is also helping my shoulders, arms and my leg muscles too. There is an exercise sheet included, directons on use and safety tips for use.

    Wait what
What I was thinking!!! One day I hope to be strong enough to slam this ball without hesitation; today is not that day! The ball is sturdy, seems well made and can be used for tricep and bicep work. A great idea for those who are into fitness as a second job. But, those of us who are just getting started, or starting again, wait and take it slow with this ball!

    20lbs of DEAD weight
This slam ball is seriously 20lbs. I haven't used the ball in the slamming mode yet as my back won't allow me to continously bend like that. I have found that in can hold the ball in front of me & twist my upper body from side to side. I even sit in a chair and rest the ball in my lap then lift it to eye level & return. Don't be frightened by the instructions that come with the ball. There are a lot of exercises that can be accomplished. I like the ball but may have to get a 10lb slam ball to aid. In my workouts.

I have been using this slam ball in my Wt Training class and it's great so far. It's perfect size and weight and seems very durable. My kids tend to abuse the med balls and they end up breaking, so I got this one to hopefully keep that from happening. So far So good!!
