Very nice sewing machine!
The Singer sewing machine is great! It's easy to set up and sews like a dream. My old machine died a couple years ago and I finally got around to buying a replacement. This basic heavy duty model sews through thick fabric with no problem. It runs smoothly and as an occasional seamstress it has just enough options for me.

Singer sewing machines could do better.
Very difficult to thread machine. The thread in the bobbin did not get picked up by the needle so all the thread continued to bunch up. We followed all the videos even starting it and stopping it to make sure we were doing it correctly but to no avail. There is very little room to maneuver your hand to place a needle in its holder. We had to turn machine on its side to see where the needle is placed. We didn't even try to use the self-threading feature because it looked complicated. The lever to put the foot down on the material is made of plastic, seems quite flimsy and would probably not stand up to heavy duty use. We gave up trying to use the machine and returned it after 3 hours of trying to figure out how to use it. The best part of the day was how easy Walmart's return policy was. We went online and printed the barcode sent on my computer and returned it without a hassle. The return assistant scanned the barcode and we were given a receipt for the return. Thanks Walmart.

    Great for us
    Very nice setup i bought this for my wife i went with this model because it is simple enough to learn on but advanced enough that I would not need to buy another model for quite a while it can sew heavier fabric such as denim and light canvas the extension table is very nice for wider projects

    it is the singer heavy duty HD6360M
    it worked for like 2mo then it would brake the bobbin thread. i liked it. but it just started brakeing the thread. like it was catching on something

    Great machine!!
    Only used it once so far. This is definitely a very good machine and it's really quiet. Love the look and the thing that you can use that threads the needle for you. This is really good for the person who has a hard time getting it done.

    Bought for my wife. She loves it. Her 20 plus sowing machine finally died. This one offered her everything she wanted. Debated between this one and the one with the computer screen. Maybe age but, she felt more comfortable with this unit. She was able to go right to work and will get all her Christmas project done and out before Christmas. Yes, the gift the keeps giving.

    I purchased this about 2 days ago, and it ending up arriving 2 days earlier than originally expected, so kudos to the delivery people! The, Brother SE350, that I purchased about 14 years ago, gave up the ghost last week, has been a adequate machine, and at the time I purchased it, had wanted to get into the embroidery that can be done with an electronic machine. However, when I discovered that the embroidery side, can be quite pricey, with stabilizers, threads, programs, etc, just to do one project, I found that through the years, I rarely ended up using the embroidery attachment. I did use the decorative stitches fairly regularly, and most the time they would be good, though fussy as to the fabric used. (more stabilizer supplies) One thing that did irk me about my SE350, was that it was very hard to get a fairly straight line. Almost like a car always out of alignment. It also liked to migrate around the table, during sewing. I have just spent the last 4 hours getting acquainted with this Singer machine, (going back to a mechanical was no issue for me, since that was what I had used from childhood, until 14 years ago) and, WOW! I am so impressed with the excellent quality, and definition of the decorative stitches, and the straight stitches. Hands down, better than the one I have been using for the last 14 years! It is an absolutely solid, piece of machinery, and did not shift once from it's position on the table, during the last 4 hours. Am also VERY pleased with the extension table that came in the bundle. Have been wanting one for ages, but the prices always put me off, so finding the bundle was excellent for my budget. I would definitely recommend this machine to anyone who asked!

    Love this sewing machine!
    I was so excited about this sewing machine. I sew woven wool pillowcases so I needed a sewing machine that could withstand the heavy fabric. The extension table is the best thing ever. I am not sure how I've gone this long without having one! Set up was so easy and the instructions were well written and easy to understand. It ran nicely, didn't give off any weird burnt smells like I've read from other users and it withstood the wool and several cotton pieces at once. Also it nicely sews just a strip of cotton fabric too. I don't use all of the attachments it comes with but glad they are made available. If I had one thing to complain about it would be the cover they provide. But it obviously is just a dust cover and not meant to protect the machine itself. Just means I need to go get a case to put it in for when it's not in use because this thing is awesome! Definitely want to protect it. Love this sewing machine!

    This was a wonderful gift for my mother. Bringing some modern technology to her sewing and mending needs. Definitely heavy duty to handle thicker fabrics allowing her to repair some canvas from the boat.

    This is a Heavy Duty machine as the name states. Denim buttons any fabric this does it. Singer name is synonymous with been the leader in the sowing industry. This machine literally does it. The setup is pretty simple. The biggest factor that might posse an issue is make sure you purchase good quality thread. This will eliminate 98% of any possible problems. I found out cheap thread and you have a world of issues. The machine with everything needed to start sowing. I am no pro my wife is better than I am this is my first time using a machine to sew and I found setting it up with the instructions provided was very easy. I just did a basic pillow case and it was easy. due to having an excellent machine. Loading the bob setting the needle, for a novice this was easy to do.
