Get ready to fill your room 1500 Watts of Power
the samsung mx-t70 sound tower high power audio 1500w is a solidly built unit. the mx-t70 is ready to party - plug it in and get ready to become a dj. the bi-directional sound provided by the five speakers, two tweeters, two midrange speakers, and one massive ten inch woofer sound outstanding at any volume level. the built-in sub woofer makes this a great candidate for a stand-alone surround sound system.

i do agree with another reviewer that there is a significant drop in sound quality coming from tv to speaker as opposed to phone to speaker bluetooth. but that issue may be on the signal from the tv itself. besides that, the sound quality is powerful and rich. the remote could be a little better but im not tinkering with the remote when im working out other that turning it on and setting the volume. a great product that carries the brands name well. my only regret is not getting the bigger model. lol

    Small speaker with some good bass.
    Been using it outdoors while sitting around a fire pit, in the garage during a workout session, listen to music while doing some house hold chores & watch TV with kids. Liked it ! I like that we can connect multiple devices to stream music & connect multiple such speakers to form a speaker group. One thing I not too impressed is that I have to manually connect to a device (bluetooth) every-time I turn off & on the system. Not too big of a deal for me personally, but is slightly inconvenient. Hope Samsung will address this.

    Love my System, the sound Quality is awesome. The look is very modern and relevant. I use my system for my home theater and for my every day listening. The sound quality is so precise and clear. You can feel the bass go though your body. I'm thinking of purchasing another one for the living room in my house. Love the product. LOVE SAMSUNG.

    Great Audio quality!
    This is a great speaker if you are needing one for parties or just to have around the house! There are a few downsides. The bluetooth doesnt reach all that far, the remotes range is minimal. And the sound link doesnt pair with all samsung products. If you are looking to make this work with another system be careful!

    I am so glad i purchase this speaker, not only do i listen to music. I also have it linked to my alexa and I see movies and it is my surround sound. It is awesome. Best purchase i did this year.

    Group Play Volume Control???
    when i am in group play i cannot control the volume on both speakers simultaneously with the samsung app. i can control the host speaker volume but i then have to manually change the other speaker or use three other remote. this is not convenient. is there a solution to this?

    Great features and expandability
    Got the Samsung T40 Speaker for when we have company over and when working in the garage. The speaker is small enough that you can tuck it out of the way and powerful enough that you can hear the music. Connecting to it was easy to do and there is a message center on the top of the speaker that tells you what is happening. This takes out a lot of the guess work when connecting the devices. Aside from the Bluetooth connectivity there are other options for connecting audio inputs on the back. This makes the speaker very versatile and opens a lot of possibilities for connecting all kinds of devices to it. The sound that it creates is clear and can get loud, the bass is not obnoxious but is balanced to the other speakers that are built in. You can even turn on the bass boost if you want to add a little more punch. The design of the speaker is very thoughtful and leaves you room for expansion with its group play feature. This allows you to have more than one of the speakers connected to each other and play the same music on both speakers. The T40 is a good value for all the functionality, compatibility, and expandability that it offers. I am glad I got one.

    This is a nice speaker for your summer outdoor parties. It's easy to move around since it weighs about 18 lbs. The speaker has bi-directional speakers on two sides and with a subwoofer on the bottom, so the music can be heard at a greater range. That's 300 watts of high power audio. If that's not enough, up to three units may be synched and grouped together. There are many connection options, including bluetooth (two different devices simultaneously) and USB. It also has two ways of connecting wired analog devices. One thing that is missing is a digital audio connection. I like the ability to connect devices that don't have bluetooth support. This way you could connect a TV (non-bluetooth) digitally to the T40 in place of a soundbar. The T40 plays all kinds of music, including MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC and AAC. There are multiple sound presets to suit your style: Party / Standard / HipHop / EDM / Rock / Latin / House / Reggae. It also has an additional Bass Boost feature that claims to provide extra boom. However, I am disappointed in the fullness of the bass. The overall sound is not as rich as expected. For amateur DJs, there are six DJ sound effects and six light modes. The tempo feature on the remote allows you to speed up or slow down the beat. You can use the Samsung Sound Tower app (iOS, Android) to control everything right from your phone. The Samsung T40 Sound Tower is a great fun system for small backyard parties.
