I love it
the only complaint i have is the shipping took a while, but that is understandable with covid. the support team helped get me tracking and i was happy. i would recommend this monitor. i am using a 2080 ti and everything looks wonderful. my kd has gone up, sniping in warzone is easy, and my overall wins have increased. if you are on an old tv with an xbox or on an old monitor--- you deserve this... buy it.

DEAD PIXEL GALORE, ZERO QUALITY CONTROL
i wanted to like this monitor, i really did. the specs are amazing, the colors are great, really a gamer's dream monitor....that's only if they could make one without defects though. is samsung just unable to produce this monitor without dead pixels? this is my 3rd one and it came with 3 dead pixels, beyond frustrating, this thing is supposed to be a "premium" product, it isn't cheap... i don't see why it has such a high dead pixel rate. i'm sure everyone's seen the reviews on here, people going through 10 monitors not able to get one without a dead or stuck pixel, what gives?

Cable management is very bad, USB seems pointless
the cable management system & provided cables really aren't up to par. you have to bend the cables 180 degrees, pinch them between a clip & the monitor body, impinging the vertical height adjustment & the monitor tilt movement. the cable clip isnt adequate to accommodate the full array of input cables adding an additional hdmi cable overwhelms the clip. after managing, cables extend approx 70cm & 80cm from the base of the stand on a monitor with a 70cm wingaspan, i'm not sure where the source is expected to be. placing a laptop beside the monitor the cables wont reach the opposite side. i also have to add the usb ports are hidden behind the backing plate making them practically unreachable, i'm not sure why anyone would see a value in placing them there.

    STUNNING Immersive 32in 1440p 240hz Monitor
This monitor (after 90 days of use) is the single best 32inch 1440p curved monitor I've ever used. I have 9 different monitors at this time included curved and non curved 32inch 1440p monitors and the Samsung Odyssey G7 destroys each and every single one of them in terms of daily driving purposes. There are some minor nuances with this monitor but the High QUALITY of the product itself and the High QUALITY of the immersive and truly just right calibrated colors out of the box has me in awe each day I use this monitor. You certainly want to ensure you adjust the color depth from the default (8bit) to 10bit via the NVIDIA Control central or it's AMD equivalent. I have both an RTX 3000 series and AMD 6700xt cards tested and both G-Sync and Free-Sync Premium Pro work without a hitch. The curve is at first alarmingly ... curved but I assure you - as long as you have the ideal distance from your face/eyes to the monitor (which the High Quality Stand provides, though I have table mounted this monitor personally) - You will either: A. Immeditely enjoy this deep curve and/or B. Take some time, but eventually get used to and C. Hopefully thereafter you will love the curve so much that you'll wish you'd have gone this route prior to the price increasing $100. Even at $800 - (I got this a few months back at $700), I would 100% get this monitor again if I was in the market for a daily drivable (I work/game off this monitor, daily) ... 1440p 32inch Monitor with very buttery smooth 240hz refresh rate = This is for you! I will eventually get another one of these as I currently have an Asus 32inch VG32 mounted right next to this bad boy G7. The comparable unit next to my G7 is decent but the brightness and clarity is 1000% better on the Samsung unit. The Samsung unit is $400 than the Asus VG32VQ unit which is also 32inch 1440p - though with lower refresh rate of 144hz and not G-Sync compatible. Honestly, if you have the funds or even if you don't... save up and get this Monitor - it is truly future proofed if you have a mid-range GPU like me. If you want a smaller curve and want to spend less for a much different but still I would call the 2nd most best 32inch (Budget Oriented) monitor then I'd perhaps you would want to go with the Asus VG32VQ which has a 1800r curve as compared to the 1000r the G7 provides (Which again, I truly love per the immersion even at 32inches) If I was super rich (and had the space) I would certainly splurge out for the 49inch G9 but that thing costs 2 arms and 1 leg. The G7 is a SOLID alternative I assure you. I hope you may enjoy it as much as I and not experience any of the tech issues I've read in other reviews. The only minor issue I've encountered thus far is a slight delay with input switching auto-magically (though it happens once in a while and unplugging/plugging power in the monitor fixes it). Also the stock DP 1.4 cable is too short for me, wish it was longer. TL;DR: HIGH Quality Immersive 32inch 1440p 240hz

Core Lighting broken within 6 months
i picked this monitor up at the end of january to compliment my 3080 build, and found the 240 hz to be extremely fluid. i have not encountered any flickering issues as others have here. that being said, six months in, the core lighting feature on the right hand side lower led has lost its green, so if i put the core lighting to yellow, i get red on the right side. so now i need to decide if i'm going to rma it or not for what amounts to being a non-critical (but annoying visual) feature, and during the rma i won't have a monitor for weeks. overall if it had a few tweaks, and hadn't lost the core lighting, i think i'd be willing to bump it up two stars, but i'm expecting the whole thing to die by december by the poor qc.

Best bang for the buck! Great features!
I'm using this monitor on my Xbox Series X and I would definitelyget another one for the PC eventually... I absolutely believe there IS NOT another 32" monitor with the speed, clarity, immersion... I was hesitant about the curve before I bought it, but since I've experienced it, I don't even notice it. If anything it's way better immersiveness. I play all kinds of games. From Call of Duty to The Witcher. All these features 32", 1000R curve, 240hz , 1ms, WQHD, Gsync/Freesync Premium Pro compatible... This monitor is absolutely outstanding... My only gripe is the desk space and NO SPEAKERS (it's not that big of deal really to me). The total space the stand and monitor takes up is about 33"w and 13"D front of screen to the back of stand. I'd recommend monitor desk arms or wall mounting. I love this monitor!

    Great monitor with QC issues
love the size and the curve. blacks are nice and dark and the whites are bright. never had any gsync issues or dead pixels. my problem was with a 4" shadow in the monitor. you couldn't see it very well unless the screen was mostly a solid color or moving. for instance, when the sky pans in a game. once you saw it you'd continue to see the stationary shadow whenever the screen panned no matter what was on the screen. it's also almost dead center so there's no way not to see it. i ended up sending the monitor back to samsung under the warranty. we'll see if they're going to fix it or send out another monitor.

This particular monitor has a very grainy picture and no amount of tweaking would help with the picture quality.

    Perfect
I love everything about this monitor I thought I wasn't going to like the curve but it's fine the colors and the contrast look great and it works fine for the Xbox series x and PC and as far as Walmart goes everything went fine

    Dead Pixel in 3 months
after purchasing this "top of the line" monitor about three months ago, it is plagued with issues. flickering does not stop and furthermore, dead pixels. the quality control of this product is mind-boggling terrible. i thought i'd be a lucky one and win the lottery but nope. please, do yourself a favor and find another brand that has better customer care and quality control. do not purchase this product. do not purchase this product.
