Will NOT connect with the HW-Q950A.
bought samsung's top-of-the-line soundbar, hw-q950a. comes with subwoofer and two rear speakers. connects to these just fine. but the rear speakers only come in poke-you-in-the-eye black. i want hidden speakers. sb is fine, but hide these two. i already have two rear in-wall speakers that are wired. so i bought this wireless system (toss the two micro speakers). after half-a-day trying to explain to the tech support, i get this response: "i am afraid to inform you that there are two rear speakers ps-ra95bb-1, ps-ra95bb-2 are only compatible with the sounbar. ‎apart from those two, no other surrounding speakers can connect to the soundbar."

    These work perfectly!
    i honestly don't understand the previous poor reviews for this product. these are designed to be used with 2021 qled tv's and 2021 q soundbars. no point to buy them otherwise. when you use them with compatible products, they are terrific. i am using them with a 2021 samsung 80a-qled and a 2021 samsung q700a soundbar. ---- pros: they pair easily and flawlessly. it took me less then 5 minutes and only 2 steps to pair them to the soundbar. i love that they are truly wireless, with no wires having to go between the speakers. they sit on my endtable and are neat (not messy) with no wires hanging all around. a seperate power cords comes for each speaker. the sound is adequate. i mainly watch streaming moviesi have not used them for gaming on my ps4 as of yet.

    Not compatible with 2020 model
    hi, i really like the idea of upgrading the q900t with an 2.0.2 system, but at this moment it's not compatible at all.. i don't know the exact hardware structure built in to the soundbar but i do not think that it is that hard to make it possible with an firmware update.. of course samsung is an tech company an they rely on sells, but since the 2020 models aren't that old yet - i mean 1 year isn't that much even though tech is an pretty fast developing branch - i can't understand why the 2020 models won't support those rear atmos speakers and only the 2021 will. since there is no support yet for the "older" 2020 models i will give them just one star. happy to hear some updates if there will be any or even if the 2020 models will be support them in future.

    Terrible product
    Garbage product. Do not buy. Need a soundbar to connect as a first complaint (that is no where made clear when purchased (blame Walmart for this). Also, it's not wireless. There are wires... Garbage - learn from my mistake and do not waste your time.

    Good rear speaker for surround sound.
    Must of the bad reviews are read about this rear speaker kit SWA-8500/za are not true. These speaker are a Great addition to my Samsung sound bar. The volume is perfect, you just have to adjust according to what type of movie or program you're watching. I'm glad I purchased these.

    Its underrated its does what its supposed to10/10
    Its phenomenal with the Q6TCT surround sound I got them yesterday and they hooked up to my new surround sound with ease very easy to set up reading the detections I seen all the comments of negative reviews of not being able to connect this awesome edition to you surround sound to complete it to get that full 360 home theater effects took me 1 time to get it going and I must say it adds a punch to it with the effects of gun fire going all around you like a twister in your head its like your in the movie our your game its incredible I love everything about it and I highly recommend this add on edition to your surround sound dont listen to the negative stuff it works perfectly fine just read the detections of your surround sound and the wireless rear speakers and put them together and you will be just fine trust me its a must have 10/10 you will love it everyone needs these with there Samsung surround sound!!!

    Frustrated with Samsung
    I really don't care for these speakers and wanted so much to like them after researching look like forever and kept contemplating on purchasing them. First of all they are not loud enough. I understand that they are supposed to enhance your movie experience and I've had rear speakers before and I know how they are supposed to sound. Samsung keep making excuses for a not so well thought-out product. I will be buying me some Bose speakers when the time is right. Also, the hole in the back of the speaker to mount it on the wall is so small it took me forever to find the right size screw that the head would fit in the back of the speaker. I have two HW M450 Samsung soundbar which are excellent. One in the bedroom and one in the livingroom. Due to the fact Samsung TVs sound is always horrible and to make matters worse they took away DTS 2.5 Neo in the sound menu and it's a shame because it enhanced the sound of a poorly made sound in their flat screen TVs. My bedroom TV is an older model 2014 and it offers the DTS Neo 2.5 which makes the sound awsome. However, my newer model TV 2019 model does not offer DTS Neo 2.5 it only offers PCM and when you are watching Netflix you have Dolby Digital. That's my reasoning for ordering the rear speakers to help out the newer model Samsung TVs which really didn't do that much if any for the sound and it was too much of a hassle to return the speakers. I'm totally frustrated with Samsung because I have everything Samsung, and maybe it's time to make a change. Although, I love my Samsung Note 8 phone and didn't have any problems with my 2014 TV. But my Samsung 10.1 Note tablet I should have returned it. It doesn't hold a charge now you cannot get any updates for the operating system because Samsung refuses to update models once they become old and that's sad because seniors aren't able to continuously purchase tablets, phones, laptops etc once you become retired. Big changes are needed with Samsung products and maybe they should have a senior Focus Group to help them make a better product. Samsung if you read this you do have some seniors that are tech savvy!!!

    This rear speaker sound kit works PERFECTLY!
    Extremely happy with this rear speaker system, it does exactly what it's suppose to do. I've read the negative comments about low sound and weak speakers, these are REAR speakers and are not meant to blow your ears off. They pick up the smaller, detailed sounds perfectly. This kit is actually more effective than I expected. I would buy another set for my next sound system.

    Only works with Samsung soundbars
    Probably a good product if used with a matching Samsung sound bar. Problem is the does not specify that in the description. Needs a built in Samsung IDSet code on the sound bar that it can link to. It will not link wirelessly via Bluetooth.
