Great product, no complaints.
Bought 4 of these a few months ago for protein shakes. Sturdy bottle, no leaks, cap and lid screw on easily, even a plastic shaker ball. What more could you want?

I bought a orange/pink coloured 20 oz Shaker Bottle (#1W29) for my daughter in August 2016 for the new school year. For the first few weeks there were no concerns. Then after some time my daughter started complaining of odor in the bottle. I started washing the bottle with care....but when she used to come back from school......I myself could smell the odor.... It is not even six months now and I am sorry to say that we cannot use the bottle anymore because of the strong odor. We have used Rubbermaid products in the past and are still using them but never have we faced with this kind of odor.

    It leaks and the mixing ball don't mix
    First time I purchased a rubbermaid product... I bought this Shaker bottle recenlty and today I used it for the first time with protein powder. I've been using it like a normal water bottle since I bought it until now. Really disappointed! No matter how hard I try to twist and close the cap, it always leaks!! And it's not all! The mixing ball is too light, it floats on my beverage instead of drowning.. try to mix protein powder that drowns with a mixing ball that floats... Even if I shake the bottle like maracas, there's still, always, powder on the bottom... So mad I bought it! It's the same as trowing cash from a window...

    Doesn't leak and twist top stays on
    Got this bottle at my local super market more than 6 months ago. Love it! Use it everyday. Love the feature that it has a wide opening for easy cleaning and adding ice. Love the twist top so water won't leak. The pin to the cap came off once but I was able to find it put it back. I usually hand wash it but puts it in the dish washer once a week or so. I want to get more for my boys who have bottle leak and spills in their book bags multiple times. Please sell them on line. I don't see it at my local store anymore.

    Ice from Refrigerator goes in easily
    Best water bottle except... Ice goes into bottle from refrigerator easily with the wide top. Also, the drinking mouth piece is perfect for quick on and off for a swig of water here and there while at the gym. The threading on the top mouth piece is perfect. There is no problem with getting it off and on with a short twist. The only complaint that I have is that the finger loop handles will eventually break off and I can't find a replacement.

    Best shaker bottle ever
    I have 6 of these and gotten rid of the types that snap closed. The screw top is fantastic. You don't have to struggle to snap it in place or send everything flying thinking it is sealed shut when it isn't. The bottle had molded on measurement markings (not paint that fades away) and does not leak. The mixing ball has smooth paddles and cleans easy. Dishwasher safe. Great for elderly people or people with arthritis as you dont have to use much force or pressure to seal it.

    Shaker Bottle
    I bought this shaker bottle over a year ago and LOVE it. I kept going through water bottles like crazy, but then saw this shaker bottle and thought this may work as a water bottle instead. More sturdier, thicker plastic. Holds a lot. I actually fill it with water and ice and even freeze it for a few hours, because this way at work it will stay cold for me. There is no odor or hard to clean areas. I saw some reviews with these issues, but mine is fine. I wash it every day in my dishwasher. The only disappointment I have, is that the rubber handle broke. So I can't hold it by that anymore. I bottle is still good so I won't be throwing it out any time soon!! Rubbermaid, do you by chance make separate handles for this product for purchase?? I bought the purple because it is my favorite color.

    Fantastic design and everything, but it leaks...
    I bought this bottle around the 3rd week of August because it was the best bottle on the shelf of the Superstore. It has a huge capacity, the plastic is strong and durable, the Tritan stuff seems to work very well, the spout is easy to open and it has a bit of rubber for grip. Did I mention that the colour selection is outstanding? There is almost nothing wrong with this bottle! The only thing is that since the first day I began using it (a few days after the purchase) I noticed that drops of water kept coming out from underneath the lid (where the rubber ring for the finger holder is). I attributed it to water getting stuck between the rubber and disregarded it. But it kept happening. So, I tried drying up the ring as best as I could and tried shaking the bottle and still water came out. I still use the bottle, its just that water seems to leak out of it if it is above 75% full, especially if it is layed down sideways or shaken a lot in a bag.

    Great water bottle for students!!
    We love the wide mouth and the screw top drinking spout. I can easily add ice in the mornings for my teenage kids lunches - most water bottles are too narrow for that. Secondly, the screw top drinking spout prevents germs and keeps the bottle from accidently coming open. (And I don't have internal straws to try to keep clean.) Also, fits nicely in car cup holders and in backpack pockets. (When I purchased in the store, I did notice that a couple were missing the gasket on the lid. Check this when you purchase or you'll end up with a mess.)

    breaks easily
    When I first got this a few months ago, I fell in love with this bottle. It was perfect for traveling and going to the gym. Today, I was shaking up a drink and when I drank from the bottle, it leaked all over me. Upon inspection, I found a crack on the inside of the top, right above where it screws onto the bottle. Don't know how or when it cracked. I always hand washed it and careful not to drop it. This was a waste of money. I thought Rubbermaid products are good in quality but this bottle proves otherwise. So disappointing!
