Exactly what I was looking for!
Just about every backplate I've seen is too small in diameter - this one offered more coverage for a damaged closet door and looks fantastic behind the vintage ceramic knob-pull. Very nicely made - flat (not warped) with even finish on the edges, and thicker than I expected. Great quality, for an astonishingly great price!

MISLEADING DISCRIPTION
Ordered 20 in zinc color expecting to get a 2 ½-inch diameter plate. I received plates in antique brass color that are about 1 ½-inch in diameter

    Met expectations
    Well made and free of any defects. One note of caution, depending on the size of the base of the pull knob you use (no all have the same diameter), it may rest inside the inner circle, or rest on the raised ring. I don't recall seeing a reference to the size of knobs this would accept. In my case I had to rest it on the raised ring and take care to center upon tightening.
