    Brake lever alignment
    The brake levers were not installed on the handlebars correctly from the factory. I had to disassemble and reassemble the brakes to get the handlebars to be properly oriented. This delayed final assembly by about an hour and a half. After I got the bike properly assembled my daughter was happy with her new set of wheels. Recommended as a cheap bike for a young girl, but with the caveats above.

    A competent budget-priced kids mountain bike
    I was a bit hesitant to purchase this bike online. I wasn't sure what to expect as Roadmaster is more of a value brand with lower cost components versus some other brands. Website said there was blue one available locally in-store, but it was not there when we visited our local store. Online showed availability for shipping at a higher price, but in a purple color. We took a chance and ordered it since selection is more limited now during COVID. Website said it would be delivered on the weekend. Something that I thought was doubtful. Sure enough, shipment was delayed until the weekday, so it arrived one day later than it was originally promised when ordering. Cardboard shipping box was received unsealed, probably could have been taped better at the factory or FedEx could have been more gentle with the delivery. Fortunatedly, nothing was missing from the box. Box was in pretty good condition just one big dent and bike was in satisfactory condition other than the unsealed box. It didn't take long to assemble the bicycle as I have open end wrenches and allen wrench that fit the metric fasteners. Wheels were not 100% true as there is a little wobble. I did need to adjust the brake pads accordingly. Shifting worked out of the box, but I will probably need to go back and adjust the rear derailleurs after my daughter can break-in the bike a little bit. It does shift to all 6 cogs with the rear derailleur, but it could be smoother. Again probably need to adjust the cable tension or derailleur a bit once it gets ridden a bit more. I did need to remove the rear reflector on the seat post to get the seat to go down lower since my child is vertically challenged. I will just reinstall the reflector once she grows taller. Overall, I'm very impressed with the bike for the price paid. Components don't rival those available on a higher priced bicycle, but they are not bad for non-named brand components. At worse case, one could always replace the components out for better parts. Nevertheless, the bicycle is very usable with the components as equipped.

    When it got to me the box was in bad shape. It had big holes in it and the top looks like someone cut the tape of the box. The FedEx dude lay it on the side when it saids on the box not too. Putting it together was a nitemare. The back brakes will not adjust and some of the brake cable was unravel

    My brand new bike which I am enjoying very much
    When assembling the bike pay attention to the direction arrow on the front tire it must match the back tire direction. Check the tire pressure rating and fill before your first ride. My tire pressures were 13 and 21 from the factory and the tires are rated for 50 lb. I put a larger more comfortable seat on my bike and now it is perfect for me. The six sprockets in the back are a bit too much. Changing gears can be a challenge for the chain because of the extreme angle from front to rear sprocket. For sprockets in the back would have been ideal. Assembly tools require allen wrench set in millimeters and my set went from two and a half to six and one of the bolts required a n 8 mm which I did not have. It would have been nice if this oversized 8 mm tool had been shipped as a part with the bike. Adjusting the brake pads and the clearances was a little bit of a challenge and time-consuming. I would guess that for most people it will take about 45 minutes to an hour to do a good job.

    decent bike for the price - get allen wrench
    This is a decent bike for a teen girl (5'2”) for under 100 bucks. We watched youtube to assemble. She mostly did all the assembly by herself. She's been riding it daily during the quarantine and the only downside is that the handle gets loose often so make sure you have a strong adult tighten it. It doesn't come with the necessary allen wrench, so pick up one at the same time when you buy a bike. I got a multi-size tool for 5 bucks.

    A MUST GET for a little girl
    LOVE THIS BIKE . This was my daughters 10th birthday gift and she's hasn't stop asking to go outside to ride it. I ordered her a basket for the handle bars and a water bottle that clips to the bike frame. I got this bike for $51 dollars because I had a 25 promo code. Best investment. You won't be disappointed.

    Great bike for price!
    I purchased this bike for my self, I'm only 4'10” It was perfect for my size. Delivered quick and easy to put together. The only thing I hated was the seat. I purchased a new wider more comfortable seat and it's a million times better! Great way to get your heart rate up!
