purchased these almost 7 years ago and they are the best ones I ever had, they still heat up after almost 7 years, some of the rollers were getting a tad freyed but I like then so much I got another set

Gets the job done.
I bought this same curler unit a few years ago. It's a good price and doesn't fry my hair. The curls still in all day with a little hairspray. The problem is after a few years the curlers fall apart. The plastic ends come off and if you still use them, they burn your fingers if you aren't careful. The old unit I had still was working and heating, but nearly every curler lost it's plastic ends. The other problem is if you don't get the pin through your hair just right they fall out. The new pins are better.

    Ok, but lacks storage.
    The curlers are ok, but the company missed the mark on design. My old unit is a Clairol electric set from 1973 and- they still work! (50 years old!). Several of the curlers had been dropped-and the edge broke off-but still useable. I thought it was time to replace it. The Clairol has a slide out drawer for the clips, (See photo) while this one didn't have anyway to store the clips. Also, it had a place to wrap the cord around the bottom.

    The best choice for this type of hair rollers.
    I have depended on these hot rollers for many, many years. I like to have different styles for different occasions. I can have a new style with this versatile set of rollers sizes.The clips are the best type for holding each size in place with my fine hair.

    I love my new curler set. I had one almost like it before, but this set is much nicer and the curlers do not get as hot to the touch. It works great.

    Remington Ionic Conditioning Hot Rollers Rock
    I now have 2 sets of Remington Ionic Conditioning hot rollers. One is at the beach house and one here in town. When I partner these with Pantene Heat Primer Spray for curls that last for days. My long hair (waist length) doesn't hold a curl as well with anything else that I have tried.

    Good hot rollers
    These work pretty good if you let them really heat up and leave them in. I have really long hair so I would have preferred if there were more of the large size and no small ones, but you get what you get. But no complaints.

    Needs an off and on switch, and clips storage.
    the container does not have a storage place for the clips for the rollers, and only one roller has a dot on it to let you know that it's hot, and some of the clips were stretched out so they didn't hold the roller with my hair on it, I had to try to squeeze it back into a smaller shape to hold my rollers, not bad for the price, but my old hot roller had storage for the clips and an off and on button, which this one does not.

    Curls well - but
    This Hair Setter curls my hair quite well. However. there are two issues I have found after using it only twice. 1. It does not have a shutoff switch so you have to plug it in to turn it on and unplug it to turn it off. 2. The rollers are hot to the touch. They have a small rim around each roller that is not as hot, but the roller is pretty small and right now it is hard not to hurt my fingers. I am hoping after a few more uses I will find it easier to hold the rollers buy the little rim. Because, as I said before, it curls my hair really well.

    Good Rollers
    Rollers take a while to heat up, which is no problem. Just fine what I'm doing accordingly. Seems to be much less damaging to hair. What I don't like is the shape. Very awkward to hold onto. Needs a different shape or a fold down handle.
