Extremely pleased!
The UPS guy was so professional, even though they hadn't given him the code to get in the gate I was there to open the gate for him! Very professional I even got my delivery a day early!

Very Unhappy With This Purchase
This was a used mower. When I purchased it there was nothing said about it being used or refurbished. I opened the box as I was going to use it today and found rusty and dirty blades and plenty of dirt in tires. It was so used it would never have cut butter much less grass. I am returning it for a full refund.

    Unfortunate
Easy to put together. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. Period. (the blades turn but the grass cutting is so minimal it's invisibleā€¦ lots of hard work for no results-bizarre!I had high hopes it would be great. Hope I can return it

    Not worth it
Sadly, took it back. It was so cheap. I really wanted to like it, esp after reading the reviews. But it just wasn't worth it. The front wheels kept locking up straight out of the box. That was super frustrating. After MUCH research, people said to actually kinda drop it. Which is soooo weird. But I tried it and it worked. But would just lock up again. It wasn't worth it. Plus it was so light and cheap, you are definitely the one doing all the work. I wanted to save money, but I want toā€¦live too.

    Used mower really?
We received a clearly used mower as you can tell by the picture of dirt in the wheels still in The box ! And there was no bagger! And the blade needed sharpened probably because it was used ! We return the mower no problem. But I would not order this ! Save yourself the trouble of having to send it back to get your money

    Realistic expectations
I have a TINY yard, and no shed or basement. I didn't want to keep a gas mower inside my home but had nowhere to store it outside. So I got this manual mower. It does and does not do certain things. It does NOT get every weed. It does NOT do hills. It does NOT work as quickly as a powered mower. What it does do, and do very well, is provide me with a convenient hassle free way to maintain my yard. I get my hill and any strays with an electric weedeater, and the reel mower takes care of the flat part of my yard. It is exactly what I needed and if you live in town with a smaller flat yard it will serve you well too, as long as you have realistic expectations of what it works best on. Also the grass catcher is unnecessary l, it fills up too fast and the mower spreads the cuttings wide enough to render it pointless. It does keep grass off your shoes, but I don't care about that. A little grass is definitely not the worst thing to get on my boots.

    No gas No electric
Which is exactly what I was looking for! The Assembly was easy. And it works brilliantly when I tried it out! It has 4 wheels, springs, a sharpening bar below, and the catch is very handy for small to medium yards. Sadly i realized it wasnt high enough to do my dads yard because of all the terain bumps lol I will definitely use it for my own yard. Now to hunt for another one to get my dads yard and to do trimming. So awesome and healthier for your body to use. Ty! Ps: it looks bigger in first person pov then in picture ^-^

    Think before you buy
This product was not what I was hoping. It was not the manufacturer or the quality, all of that is good, but if you have an uneven yard, or tall grass and shorter grass, it will only cut the shorter grass. Very difficult to maneuver on uneven ground. I was hoping it would solve my spotty areas where some grass grows and the need to pull out the gas mower is not needed, but it was not for me. Nothing wrong with the product, but it is not for all yards.

    Walk the Doggy
Grass looks healthier. Cuts very deep grass with the wheels up. Naturally, the stiff weeds don't always cut, but the gas powered lawnmower doesn't always cut stiff weeds either. Gets in and around trees and plants with ease. More convenient to use than the gas powered. Easier to pull out and use. No fumes. No noise other than the old fashioned hum of the good old days. No dirt or sand flying in the air. Extra effort for uneven earth, but does well with it. Extremely sturdy, well made, yet, light weight. My young basset and this old gal (75) love this machine. When she gets tired, we quit mowing and sit down. Thanks to the Remington folks for this excellent work of art. Thank to WalMart for recognizing quality.

    I love it.
Prior to purchasing this mower, I really did my research checking all the reviews for all the different mowers. I'm going to be honest - I live in the dry plains of South Texas. My yard is pretty flat and there aren't many trees around. Small twigs easily get caught in the reel, but leaning the mower to one side and rotating the reel with your foot seems to do the trick most of the time. Larger twigs just lay down and get passed over. As expected, crabgrass clumps that rise more than 2" above the ground stop the mower dead in its tracks. But the plus side is you can either back up and attack them from each side and get them mowed (relieving a lot of stress while getting a good work out) - OR - stop, bend down, pull them up, and toss them in the collection bag (beautifying your yard.) Also stated in other reviews, single weeds or grass seeds more than 3 or 4 inches in height don't usually get cut, no matter how many times you go over them. On the topic of the collection bag, as stated in other reviews, the bag gets snagged on stuff you mow over and pulls to one side. I haven't looked at it really close, but I suspect you could attach it more permanently with some plastic cable ties or something. I'm going to be honest about something else. I'm a female, I work at a desk job, and I have weak wrists. This mower is super light to push and turn - even with one hand! It is not hard to maneuver at all. I would compare it to pushing an empty wheelchair or a stroller with an infant in it. This mower is a breeze to use, so the tall weeds and crab grass won't be an issue after the first couple of mows because this mower is easy to use every weekend.
