Do not waste your money.
This meter will not stay connected to my phone. Called number on box. They are very hard to get through to. Tried several times to resolve issue and cannot. They know it is defective and will only replace it. They will not refund you. Do not waste your money. Buy something else.

This new meter test is higher and then lower than my two old ones. It is very erratic and not dependable.James

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/12/2022Works OK, app is awful, test strips expensive.The meter is usually pretty accurate when I compare it with a Contour Next One or Verio OneTouch. By that I mean usually 2 of the meter have readings close to each other. BUT the app that comes with it doesn't have the ability for you to write a general note such as the time you took a medication, whether you had coffee before testing after getting up and so on. It makes you go thru a series of three or four steps asking about diet and activity etc. but that is annoying and doesn't help me write myself a general note. The OneTouch app works much better. The Contour app is next best. This app is a distant third for my purposes. This meter is inexpensive enough but the test strips are crazy expensive and I can't find a lot of stores that carry them to try and get a better price. Overall, if you are looking for a meter I suggest the Countour Next One, which also allows bluetooth connection just like the ReliOn Blu does.Kelliann1

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/10/2021Good monitor but there are issues.This seems like a reliable tester but there are issues a potential buyer might need to be aware of. The biggest issue is that the tester doesn't come with a lancing device. It's not a big issue for most of us who have been at this a while because we've usually got backups, but to a new tester, keep in mind you'll need to buy one or ask a diabetic friend for a spare. Like many testers, the case is flimsy and kind of annoying, it's crowded even without the lancing device. Again, not a deal breaker, but definitely something to know before you buy one. As a tester, it's easy to use and came within 4 points of my old monitor that the strips are being phased out for. Bluetooth pairing wasn't bad, but if you have problems seeing, get someone to help because the serial numbers on the unit are tiny. Over all, it's not a bad monitor, just a bit no-frills. I'll likely use an old case or make one that fits everything better.Seleighe

At first I was not sure which was correct. So I did 3 test in a row on both. My Glucocard one I bought from the local Pharmacy stayed the same. The Reli on unit increased with each test. I don't think my blood sugar increase by 32 in 1 minute. I don't think I can trust this unit.HappyCamper

I can even sync it by blue too the to an app on my phone with Region and save my blood sugar checks activities, diet mood and more right from my phone. It is great and I can show my doctor my progress and get helpful feed back from the doctor on what will help me get even better. Thank you Walmart for carrying this fabulous product.Robin

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/25/2020Follow Instructions for Great ResultsIf you follow the instructions and type the 12-digit Serial Number (S/N), you will be able to sync your monitor with your smart phone via the Life app. I read all the reviews, and I nervously pressed forward with the purchase. I am the kind of guy that reads instructions when putting kids toys together, so this was a breeze. You can sync immediately following a test or when you turn the monitor on. The Relion BLU monitor purchase comes with a case, 10 Ultra thin lancets, and the monitor. I purchases 100 alcohol wipes for an additional $1.00. I spent less than $5.00 on the lancer tool, and I bought 50 Premier test strips ($0.18 each) for $9.00. So, for less than $35, I am able to monitor and track my blood sugar accurately and inexpensively.Adam
