Excellent Rail!
We love this rail. It's extra long and covers the queen bed great for our 17 month old, who we just transferred. Once we get her actual crib converted and put together, we'll be purchasing a second rail for the other side of her bed and I'm sure the length will span almost the entire mattress in the full bed vs. the queen. The fold down mechanism is nice but we don't use it that often. Everything works as needed!

Terrible.
Second delivery from Walmart online order that came late/misplaced and damaged packaging. Awful. Call customer service and they tell you to wait 48 hours and receive email from another company, plus 10 more days for credit. Why have customer service if you are gonna refer your customers to an email and wait another 12 days before refunds.

    bought in store and the mesh broke wasnt to happy. then had to buy online because they dont sell white in stores anymore which is stupid. so spent more money to get a broken one which is the piece thats supposed to be on the rail. i loved it originally now i hate it! they just need to sell the mesh for it to.

    Update to my review on September 15. We found out how to work the release to put the rail under the mattress so I am upgrading my review to 5 stars. Very well made sturdy works well on queen size bed

    I bought this to use in a more unconventional way. We have a Pekingese that sleeps on our king size bed with us. She stretches out like she is a Great Dane. For several years I have used pillows to keep her safe near the end of the bed. However, we do need that extra 12-18" for her (and my husband and I) to get better sleep. I put this together myself and it took 15 minutes...plus I had on stiletto finger nails...and I had no problems. Since we do have a platform bed and extra thick mattress (I didn't think of the mattress) - it does not come up as high as it should :(.......that shocked me...but it does the job - and fits almost 3/4 of the bottom of our king bed. Gives me peace of mind that Baby can't fall off or even jump (she has a bad back). I would definitely recommend!!

    Hide-Away Bed Rail - Perfect for my situation
    Perfect for my situation. Needed something to keep my 12 month old grandson in the bottom bunk during nap time. Needed something high and long enough to keep him safe. The strap connected to the rail that goes under the mattress and attaches to the other side is perfect in keeping the rail tight so he can't push it over. When I get him out of the bed the rail is easy to slide under the mattress where it can't be seen which makes it easy for someone else to use the bed. It isn't quite long enough so I positioned it so the open area is next to the night stand, I figure when he gets older I can leave the open end at the foot of the bed so he can get out easy. I did a lot of research in making this purchase, I didn't want to sit up another crib because of space we had for our other grandchildren because we have down sized, this little guy is our surprise baby. I would like it better if it was 12 to 18 inches longer, however it is perfect for our needs. Grandma or Ma-Maw

    great idea, but design poorly executed
    bought this specifically because it was extra long. not seeing any "double" extra long available, i just bought two of these. these are NOT designed for 2 to be used on each side of bed; it's just poorly designed. if you only need one, it MIGHT be ok. However, i find that the things that stick out on the side for the railing to "lock" into is just a scrapped/bruised knee waiting to happen either for my daughter or myself. will be returning.

    These bed rails are exactly what we needed.
    We bought two of the Extra Long Regalo bed rails. They were easy to assemble and fairly easy to install, including snugging them up to the mattress to prevent any gaps. Fortunately, neither rail had any manufacturing flaw that would preventing assembly and installation. The installed rails were moved as far toward the head of the double bed as possible, leaving enough gap at the foot end for little children to climb on and off the bed. While asleep, these particular children migrate in various directions and positions, but with these rails we feel secure knowing that they they will not fall to the floor (the bed is high). We bought two bed rails because the sides of this bed are away from walls. We're pleased that the mesh can be removed and washed.
