stayed secure
We used the luggage carrier on a rental vehicle so we purchased this mat to make sure we didn't damage the roof of the vehicle. The bag was secured to luggage racks in both side and front so I was concerned the mat might blow away but it stayed secure and did it's job on a ten hour trip both ways. Good quality mat.

Noisy.doesn't stay on well.
Flaps in the wind if the rooftop carrier isn't strapped down super tight on it. And can blow off.

    Good rooftop mat , fit perfect on my Armada Nisan
    We purchase for our trip to New Mexico skiing and all our stuff was storages on the top of our car, it's hold the storage from slide or move around !

    Noisy but effective
    Protected the top of my acadia nicely but even with the cargo carrier tied down tight made a flapping noise.

    worked great! sticky but washable
    Used for a few weeks, my dogs ate it so i won't be using it again but it did the job, we traveled with lots of none so security stuff on the roof of my hummer, nothing ever came out or moved out. I'm done camping but next year I would get another one.

    This roof pad works great. I used a roof cargo unit on a vehicle rental without roof racks. The pad kept the cargo unit from slipping in high winds, severe thunderstorms and hail. I removed the pad after my vacation and no scuff or scraps on the roof after driving 2200 miles!
