I love these
I was surprised by the other review. I was looking for artichoke hearts that don't contain citric acid, and these don't. They have a wonderful flavor. It's not too spicy, but just enough to be tasty. I get them all the time and hope that Walmart continues to carry them.

Horrible Flavor
When I buy marinated artichokes I expect the traditional Italian spices. These are NASTY tasting. Some weird barbecue smoke spice that lingers in your mouth and is just horrible.
The worst marinated artichokes I have ever tasted and they are one of my favorite things!

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/31/2022great on your Pizza or by itself!I love artichoke hearts. Point Blank I love the marinated a little spicy I love them on my pizza I like them in my pasta I like to eat them right out of the jar kid you not and this jar at this price is a pretty good deal so I ordered three jars of them and I'm telling you now I'm only have one and I got them yesterday evening they're so delicious I had one with spinach avocado red onions and green olives and the marinade juice is good for salad dressing to use on top of the spinach with Italian dressing and tomatoes it was delicious I promise you it was so if you want to try for the first time go for this one it's small enough for you to decide if you like it or love it but least you have had an experience with itBernadette

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/05/2021Good flavor in oil, not spicy, leaves were tough. The flavor of these in the oil brine was pretty good and not too spicy, just a little kick. Biggest downside was each quarter was not prepared long enough so the ends of the leaves were tough with strong fibers that were hard to chew. Most quality marinated artichoke hearts will have soft chewable leaves all the way through.AnonymousPro

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/16/2018Bland and oilyI bought marinated artichoke hearts from 7 different suppliers to find the brand I liked best. These earned a C- rating for being tough, oily and bland. One of the least expensive at 21.43 cents per ounce. Main saving grace was that the bottle was only 7.5 ounces.Coloradodoc
