Great yarn for stuff like my neck pillow.
I buy this yarn when I'm working on certain big projects, such as the neck pillow I recently made. I'm on a very strict budget and the price of Red Heart Super Saver makes these projects affordable. It very easy to crochet with and has a nice shine to it. It isn't as soft as some of the other 100% acrylic yarns out there, but I've crocheted a lot of stuff with it and it's definitely worth buying.

Skeins are not wound tight enough so the yard splits and hangs up.

    Same description but colors don't match.
    I ordered 2 of the Bright Yellow Red Heart Super Saver Jumbo. The 2 that I received have the same lot numbers, color description, everything. But its not hard to realize that the colors aren't the same. Where's the attention to details?

    Every sportsman needs a camo afghan!
    I love Red Heart yarn, and I was delighted when I saw that it now comes in "camouflage!" I have two outdoorsmen in my family (husband and brother) and I can't wait until I finish both their blankets. I'll act like it's a "joke," but I know very well that when they're done, they'll be taken along on any hunting or fishing trip from now on. LOVE this!

    Awesome Red Heart BonBon color
    Hi, I love this yarn & am crochetting an afghan with the BonBon color & a plain lilac. 2 strands are worked together. When I posted my progress on social media, everyone loved the color. I would use this yarn again, perhaps even with a blue, green or pink to give a different look. it is a beautiful worsted weight yarn.

    Good value
    The red heart super saver jumbo black yarn is a good value but it's a very flat color compared to the other colors. So it doesn't match well when crocheting with two or more colors even other super saver colors.its also a little less soft than other super saver yarns. Otherwise it's great.
