The softness but cost was much higher than last summer when I purchased 4 skeins as a first time purchased for this yarn. Love this product and wondering if available in larger than 2 ounce skein?

So tiny!
Not a whole lot to work with. Skein is VERY SMALL. Skein sizes and weights should be more visible to potential purchasers. I barely got 4 baby booties from the skein. Won't buy again.

    Smaller than what I'd expected
    I expected something comparable to the Sugar n Cream yarns... This yarn is smaller, both in quantity and in the size/weight of the yarn itself. I made it work by using a bigger hook...

    are you kidding?
    Was a whole lot smaller than I expected for the price I paid. I will never buy yarn again on line! Will only buy yarn I can hold in my hand so I do not pay so much for so very little. I do not think it was even big enough to make a single pot holder!!

    It is soft yarn but it comes in small2.5oz package
    The cotton yarn is soft,but its pricey for the amount of yarn you get.Not like the picture on the site of a regular size of yarn,these are small bon bon size pkg.

    Yarn is thinner compared to a peaches and creme
    I was making a potholder with peaches and creme on one side and for the other side i used this red heart cotton yarn. but i would suggest not to use these two together because the thickness of both yarns are really different. peaches and creme is thicker but this yarn is way thinner. also its a small ball of yarn.

    Red Heart Cotton Yarn
    I was quite disappointed with this yarn in how it compares to similarly priced Peaches and Cream or Sugar and Cream. The solid color (ivory) did not have the loft expected but was soft and worked up OK, however the ombre (old blue jeans) while being a nice colorway did not handle well. There was little or no loft and the texture was coarse -- These two yarns were not compatible to knit in the same item, which had been my intent, as they worked up at a different gauge. I have not laundered the item I did make, which may give a softer feel to the product.

    Creme de la Creme Cotton Yarn
    I was very impressed with how quickly I received my yarn. Came a lot faster than I expected. My only grippe, which isn't really Walmarts fault is the advertised weight of the yarn. Red Heart says this yarn is "worsted" compared to all my other worsted cotton yarns, this is MUCH thinner. More like a DK weight. I held two strands together to complete my project which gave the weight I was seeking. Otherwise, very please with the purchasing process through Walmart. Very easy and received very quickly even after I selected regular ground shipping.

    I was happy with the final outcome of my project. I just have two comments. This brand is thinner than peaches or sugar and cream brands. The 56 g ball has about the same yardage as their 70 g balls. It was disappointing that each of the four balls I purchased had a join in them. Given the small size of the balls it would seem like that could be avoided on most of the balls.
