Raid does kill flying insects.
I don't like killing even insects, but i have had a nuisance fly in the house. I don't speak fly but told the thing to get out or die when my Raid arrived. The fly stayed and is a nuisance no more. Raid works!

Disappointed and not a little surprised
My family has used Raid at least since the 60s, and we loved it. I haven't used it for a while but recent monsoon rains have brought out zillions of flies and other undesirable flying critters. When I first sprayed a swarm of flies, nothing happened. I was genuinely shocked, it was as if I was firing blanks. This is so different from my past experiences (using Raid) where a short blast would cause the pests to drop as fast as gravity could pull them down. Anyone else have such a frustrating experience besides me? I really need to get these flies and demon mosquitoes out, out, out. Can one can of Raid be defective? It's honestly a shock to me that this won't kill flies or mosquitoes for me - nothing happens to them!

    I stopped buying bananas because the last bunch attracted fruit flies. We couldn't get rid of them. This product has greatly decreased their presence.

    Air freshener for mosquitoes. Waste of money
    Do not waste your money. This doesn't work. I wish i believed other reviewers. It seems they changed formula because more recent reviews complain about the same thing. This stuff is simply an air freshener for mosquitoes

    Good Stuff to use on pestering insects. We got it for spiders and it works well. They come out at dusk and once the spray makes contact, it's the end for them.

    The best of all insect killers
    This is the best. With animals around and windows open it can't be helped. Insects fly into your house. Just one spray and forget it. You can trust Raid. It also works on wasps. Easier to use than the wasp spray for sure. No aim required. Love it

    Won't kill anything but your mood.
    horrible I bought this for the gnat problem in my home. did nothing I sprayed half the can and nothing. I'm mad. I started to just buy regular raid. now I have to. waste of $7bucks.

    Says no lingering smells, lie, it's a VERY strong sweet smell that's overpowering and last hours. Oh.... does not work! This use to work about 13 years ago, guess they changed the formula, now the bugs love this stuff and don't die.
