    Perfect Fit
    I purchased this radiator cap for a new aftermarket radiator for my 85 Chevy truck. I had bought a chrome plated cap, that did not fit, from another company. This cap was perfect and looks great with the other new parts!

    ACDelco RC27 Radiator Cap
    This is a replacement for the RC36 on a Chevy 454 which is no longer available. If you happen to have a RC36, hang on to it (for restorers). Unable to locate the RC36 at the 3 popular auto parts stores, I read on a forum they were selling on Ebay for $50. I checked for myself, the RC36 was $49.75......USED......Free Shipping.....What a Deal! This RC27 holds 15lb., just as it should (15lb. Rated). From a local Auto Parts Store I tried two different (one with the lever) 16lb. caps of another brand . They both only held 13lb (2 wasted trips). Perhaps the best part is the cost_2/3 the price from AZ, and it would have to be ordered also. Sweet!
