Lasted only 27 days.
The power supply worked fine when we first got it, until today when it started making this crackle sound where you plug the cord into the power supply itself, and turned off. Now when you try to plug it back in the light pops back on only for a second, then dims out completely all the while making that crackling sound. I honestly wish I could have just ordered from Microsoft, so I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking in less than a month, but they actually directed me to ROCKSOUL because they don't carry slim power supplies for the 360 anymore, or so I was told. Time to buy another generic and hope for the best. If you end up buying this I suggest you grab the warranty even though sending it back might be a hassle.

    You get what you pay for.
    My original power supply kicked the bucket after a good 6 year run. I looked around and found this super cheap model and was fairly excited by how cheap it was. It lasted a good 3 months at best. It was very noisy, I believe the fan was junk. It stopped making the noise and the same day quit working. I opened it up and the fan was not working anymore and it kept overheating and shutting down. There was some serious electrical issues inside a few resistors had blow and some insulation was burnt around the 12v out wire going to the xbox from the brick. I bought another one this time with the $2 warranty and plan on just sending it back for a new one each time it goes bad. If you buy this product get Walmart's super cheap extended warranty, you will need it.

    new life to old xbox
    my 360 was unusable with a bad power supply, microsoft wanted over $100 for a new one. this replacement works just as good as OEM at less than half price, you can't beat that.
