Excellent
I had to buy TWO... the 1st one was broken when it arrived, but the TV is excellent, and Walmart's customer service was great when I had to return the broken TV. Re-ordered & received the 2nd within reasonable time period. Very pleased with TV... I use a rooftop antenna, no cable... get great reception, clear picture, 73 channels. Excellent! Recommend this TV!

    Great picture and great sound!
    I got lucky and got this TV for $199. The added $27 was for an extended warranty. I have four flat screen TV's and this one by far has the best sound I have ever heard! I use sound bars with my Vizio and my Magnavox, which both cost more. None needed with this baby!! It is worth the full price of $299 in my opinion!

    Just Beautiful Color!
    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE My New TV! I'm a Senior & was determined to set it up myself! I watched a UTube video of a man who purchased it & how he assembled it. All I needed was a Phillips screwdriver to attach the base. I did have to call RCA once in order to get the cable box hooked up. They were extremely helpful & told me to press the input button on the TV remote. This TV is just fabulous, & I have always loved RCA!

    RCA TV damaged, waiting on 3rd.
    It didn't work and still waiting to get yet another replacement. Going on third TV to be shipped. Very dissatisfied to say the least. Last time I ever order from Walmart.com! Christmas present for my daughter and not happy that we're almost into February.

    Screen Broken
    When I read the reviews the only bad ones were the screen was cracked, so I'm thinking Nah, I won't get a bad one. Well, I was wrong. Shipment to the store took longer than my email said. Finally received 3 days after expected date and maybe it was dropped in the shipment process. At any rate, if you want to chance it go for it because all the other reviews say the tv is great.

    RCA LED 40" HDTV
    RCA always makes a great product, as true with this 40", great clear picture, excellent is all ways, except for their method of preparing the TV before shipping. This has got to be problems with other customers. It is shipped unprotected & in only one box that does not have the screen area protected at all, just styrofoam it sits on & small cap at top, but the screen itself is not padded or protected from those accidental oops in handling. Because of this the first 40" I ordered & received was busted screen, & had to order another with fingers crossed, in hopes it would come in the original box inside a padded larger box for extra protection of screen. Now this does upset a good returning customer who believes in RCA TV, & our local Walmart does not carry them in store, have to order on line. Excellent product, packaging for shipping is not good.

    Bad very bad
    Got the t.v. one afternoon and turned on, all was well, next morning turned on, and t.v. color was totally messed up. Tired to return t.v. but the system was down for returns for "site to store" products. I had to buy a total different t.v. from the store, got it home, took out of box, and the screen had a 4in hole in the top of screen. After third trip to store I was able to get a working t.v. so far. So no, I would not recommend buy this t.v.

    It does not sound good.
    The sound can be adjusted on this TV. Even so the sound on my TV was not very good. At best, it sounded tinny with a ring to it. This won't be a problem for you if you have a sound bar (or sound stand) that you can plug the TV into. It didn't work well for me, so I returned it and will spend more money on a TV with better sound.

    Great Value for this RCA LED Television
    Great picture from this RCA LED television. The Over-The-Air (OTA) tuner provided better reception of local ATSC HD digital and NTSC analog signals than my older HD television that it replaced. While the specifications state there are 2 HDMI ports, it has3 (2 MHL ports and 1 ARC port). The 2 MHL ports are for high def audio/video inputs. The ARC HDML output port allows you to hook up to a sound bar or home theater stereo system that have an HDMI port. Using the ARC port keeps the other 2 HDMI ports open to use with other devices such as a Blu-Ray/DVD player, Internet streaming player (such as Roku, Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, etc.), satellite/cable set-top box, video game system, or other devices. It also has an USB port for USB drives for viewing pictures and videos or listening to music. The USB port can also be used as a power supply for those Internet streaming devices that require additional power. I am very pleased with the RCA LED television and would heartily recommend it!
