New look for bedroom for reasonable price
The full sized Queer Eye Upholstered bed has very nice styling and the quality is similar to what you might find in expensive furniture stores. The design is contemporary, but it has features I have not seen before. The fabric is good and should wear well over the years. The padding in the headboard is quite firm and should be durable. It really dresses up a room. This bed frame does not use a coil spring foundation but is self supporting with slats. I had not seen this design before, but it supports two adults quite well. The manufacturer states that the slat design also allows the mattress to "breathe" which makes a lot of sense. I also like the idea of only needing this frame and a mattress. The box it comes in is well over 70 pounds. I just opened the box on the front porch and brought the pieces into the house bit by bit. There was no way I could have brought it in; it's not only heavy but suite large. Two people would be able to handle it. I was alone at the time. The directions say it should take two people an hour and a half to put it together. I was by myself and it took about two and a half hours. I have put together a lot of furniture over the years. The instruction guide for this bed is one of the best I've seen. The directions and images are clear and easy to understand. They even give you extra pieces. There are a lot of bolts; most of your time will be spent gradually tightening them as you put it together. There is one minus about the bed. There is a piece of fabric that you attach to the rear of the headboard with Velcro. It is at least an inch too short on all ends. I managed to get it to stay just right, but there is no slack. However, since the headboard will be against a wall, it is not critical. In short, the Queer Eye Upholstered bed will definitely add some pizzazz to a bedroom without the showroom price. I have seen this look on some of the home improvement shows. I am so happy that I now have this fun new look in one of my bedrooms.

Easy assembly
So simple to assemble that my teenager and I didn't fight once while doing it. Not to sure about the reassemble part. We had to remove one of the slate holders that attaches to center of bed. The pegs broke and stayed in the bar. But enough of it was there that it fit back in an so far no issues. Solid but lightweight enough to move if switching room around. Love I don't need a box spring and mattress fits nicely. Fabric feels nice cushioning on headboard isn't overly stuffed but comfy. No odd smells coming from materials.

    A good buy with nice fabric.
    It has a nice esthetic for the price you pay. The construction was easy and no creaking after normal use of a month. The headboard material isn't scratchy and is softly padded as a plus. My only critique is that the slats are 2 inches apart. It won't be an issue for memory foam, but mattresses with coils won't be fully supported and will lay between the support slats.

    Great quality
    I've had this bed for almost three months now. My son had been really needing a new one and although I was a little nervous about using a fabric headboard, I'm really glad I chose this one. My two boys can be really rough on things and this bed has really stood up to their abuse. My two year old drew on it with purple marker before we had even finished assembling it and I was pleasantly surprised that it wiped right off with a damp cloth. It's so easy to clean and I really appreciate that having young kids. It looks great too. Would definitely be suited for a grown ups room as well. This thing is really well made too. It feels very high quality and has held up well to my little monkeys jumping on it. It doesn't squeak and it's sturdy so it doesn't bang against the wall when my son tosses and turns at night. It has what looks like wooden ribs to support the mattress rather than the standard planks of wood. This keeps the mattress nice and stable and level. Putting it together took about an hour. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. It was missing the pages about putting the feet on but we were able to figure it out easily. My husband did it mostly himself he just needed me to help hold up the frame to attach the feet. The box it was delivered in looked like it has fallen out of an airplane but everything inside was so well packaged that nothing was damaged or missing. Extra screws and stuff were included which is always a plus. I would definitely buy from this brand again because their quality is far superior to any other bed we've ever owned.

    Very NICE Bed at a very FAIR $PRICE$
    This bed has been a REAL GODSEND! Here I fell and broke my hip a few years ago and am now in my late 60's. Our house is a Two-story Structure with ALL the bedrooms upstairs! Now with this *Queer-Eye Charis Upholstered Bed, we were able to set it up in a corner of our Computer Room Downstairs! That way should I get tired some afternoon's, I can now simply take a nap here downstairs! Plus say should my ELECTRIC Power-Stair-Lift-Chair were to go on the BLITZ! break down for some reason or another, I can simply sleep downstairs until the Power-Chair-Stair-Lift Technician were to get out to the house to render repair / in-home service? We both the Mrs. and I think the bed is quite STYLISH with that Gray Heavy Fabric covering on the Head-board, Side and End Foot Panels. The Mrs. says that Fabric would probably CLEAN-UP real nicely with a good Rug & Upholstery Spray Cleaner in the can i.e. *Woolite or some other brand? Seems the bed's overall construction is pretty solid and I think should hold up for at least 10-years under regular everyday usage? Took the Mrs. roughly 2-hours to completely fully assemble it, some say 90-minutes but she was taking her time because she said that she wanted to make sure she got everything GOOD and TIGHT so that it would STAY / REMAIN SOLID for many years to come! She said, the ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS were REAL NICE and EASY to FOLLOW PLUS she liked how they INCLUDED *EXTRA BOLT'S, SCREWS and NUTS just in case you might lose or misplace any along the way? But for the $$PRICE$$ the OVERALL VALUE = PRICE / OVERALL QUALITY this bed is a very nice piece of furniture, especially for say Young Folks who are STARTING OUT and don't have a lot of money to spend or those like us who are older but simply just wanted a EXTRA Bed DOWNSTAIRS but didn't want to spend a lot? If the OVERALL QUALITY is indicative of the rest of the *Queer-Eye Furniture Collection then would most definitely consider purchasing some of their other Furniture Items in the FUTURE??

    Stylish Upholstered Bed
    The bed was much nicer than expected. It seems to be well manufactured and was fairly easy to assemble. Instructions were very clear unlike many others I have seen over the years. This is my first bed that uses a slat system instead of a regular box spring so that will take some time to get used to but it seems to be pretty firm and comfortable with my mattress. The only real concern I would have is the strength of the wooden slats and how they will hold up over time compared to a box spring.

    Beautiful addition to bedroom decor.
    Once this bed frame and headboard were finally put together, I found the look of it extremely pleasing. The color is neutral gray and would fit in with pretty much any decor. I love the soft, upholstered linen look and feel of the headboard board. However, as much as I like the look of this bed frame and headboard, it took way too long to put it all together. Once it was put together, our full matress didn't look like it fit quite right, and because it is so thick, we had to ditch our box spring because it would have made it way too difficult to climb into bed. The bed frame seems sturdy, so hopefully this won't be a problem. The material it is made of also has a slightly unpleasant odor. I feel that this will "air out" after a while, but nonetheless it is here for now. Bottom line, if you don't mind putting furniture together, and you have a couple of hours, this will be a great looking addition to your bedroom.

AFTER RECEIVING THE BOX AND OPENING IT UP, AND SEEING ALL THE MANY PIECES, I THOUGHT, "WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO." BUT I WAS VERY MUCH SURPRISED HOW WELL AND SIMPLIFIED THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE GIVEN. I WAS ABLE TO ASSEMBLE IT ALONE UP TO STEP SEVEN, BUT AFTER THAT I NEEDED ASSISTANCE. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS STEP BY STEP, LIKE IT SAYS. DON'T JUMP AHEAD. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED BED FRAME. VERY ATTRACTIVE AND THE UPHOLSTERED HEADBOARD ADDS SO MUCH CHARM TO MY BEDROOM. IT WAS DECIDED TO USE THE MATTRESS ONLY AND NOT THE BOX SPRING.     Great quality and looks amazing!
    Queer Eye Charis Upholstered Bed has a modern look and goes with almost any decor, it's looks great in my guest bedroom. The design of the headboard is modern and sleek and it's firm but very comfortable to lean back against while in bed. It was very easy to put together, all parts were marked properly and instructions are easy to follow. It took about 2 hours to put together. The bed has wood construction with soft linen upholstery and plastic legs in a wooden color finish. It's very low to the ground, you may not be able to store anything underneath. Overall I love this bed. It is great quality and looks amazing!

    STURDY AND ELEGANT
    I received this queer eye upholstered full size bed in one box package. The box was carefully wrapped and very heavy. On opening it I was amazed with how elegant the parts looked like. It took me 45 minutes to put together. The bed is very sturdy and made in heavy wood construction. The upholstery is made of soft linen. The legs are made of plastic material in wooden color finishing. There are slats which are sturdy too to support the weight of mattress therefore no need for boxspring or bed foundation. Overall I recommend this bed.
