It was exactly what i needed.
I actually needed this bag set as i was going on trip and needed something big enough to fit about 3 to 4 days worth of clothing. Well this bag set definitely did the job. I was even able to use the carry on bag to fit my toddlers clothes just fine. Plenty of space and did what i needed it to do.

Broke before first use
I picked this set up today for my 7yr old daughter to use. We only packed the bags for a weekend trip so the items were not very heavy. When I picked up the duffle bag the strap broke immediately! The smallest bag came with a broken zipper, then when she picked it up the strap broke too making it unusuable. Poorly made items, I will be returning the set.

    NOT thrilled but eh OK meh
    The box was ripped and damaged off the truck, luckily the luggage was not. But wasn't the black set I ordered, instead a Grey flannel set. Still cute but again not what I ordered.... why run around to return it, it's just luggage....

    A big mistake!
    First, it was delivered without a box or any form of packaging/protection. That probably explains why it came damaged too. The material is very thin, like some fabric that you'll use for a top/blouse. Now I know why it's only $40 or so. Definitely will be returning it!

    Protege 3 piece Travel set
    I am very impressed with the protege 3 piece travel set. It is light weight but sturdy and very well in made. The large pull along is the perfect size for any trip. It holds a large amount of clothing without being heavy like a lot of other travel sets. I like how it has other compartments in the front, making it very convenient to separate clothing. The wheels on the bottom glide easily. The next size bag I absolutely love it's light weight and actually hold a lot of easy access garments or what ever you want to take on your so trip.It also has a front compartment, and is very well made. The smaller bag is great for cosmetic s, it also has a front zipper compartment. I used this on a weekend trip out of town and I am very pleased with everything about this travel set. I definitely recommend this for travel.

    Nice Set
    I have never spent a lot of money, on luggage. As long as the luggage works, holds my items, is durable, affordable, then I am happy. That is how I feel about this Protege three piece luggage set. It does exactly what I need it to and it's affordable. I received the color black and I like the color. Inside the 24 inch upright, is a 22 inch duffel bag and a smaller tote that is in comparison to the size of a laptop carrier. The large upright has wheels, carrying handle and an extendable handle for easy wheeling. The material is a thick polyester, however the two smaller ones are a thinner material. Overall, it's a great set, for the price.

    Not suitable for air travel
    The Protege three-piece luggage is a nice sized set but the quality is questionable. The suitcase itself is made of very thin material. Although it is a good size and has the necessary compartments, I would not take this luggage on an airplane where you check your bags. I truly feel it would not hold up after a few uses. The duffle is made of vinyl material. It is the quality of a reusable shopping bag. It will hold up to light use and good for overnight stays and the gym. The boarding tote is made of the same material as the 24-inch bag. The handle on the bag is plastic and it is attached to thin metal rods. Since one of the rods was missing from my luggage, I assume the handle will detach sooner than one would expect. If you need a quick set for vacation and are not checking bags, this may be the set for you. It is very reasonably priced, and the quality matches the low price point. It will be good for overnight trips to family or quick trip to the beach.

    Nice Looking Lugagge but Cheap Materials
    Received this luggage and my first impression is that the material that was used maybe a little soft and not water resistant and might be a little to big for carry on. The duffle bag and the small bag that came with the luggage seems more heavier duty materials and will be using for gyms and local trips

    OK for Road Trips
    This set looks ok but it’s cheaply made and not very sturdy. If you need a small, lightweight suitcase for car travel then this may work for you, but I would not trust it to stand up to airline baggage handling. The fabric is pretty thin – especially noticeable on the two smaller bags. The suitcase can be expanded but not enough to really make a difference in what you can pack and there are no interior compartments in any of the pieces.

    Basic type of luggage
    The travel set is great for people to travel within close proximity: weekend at grandma's, sleepover with friends, or just to go to YMCA. Only because 22" duffel as well as tiny bag called boarding tote are very flimsy for air travel. The material on both is extremely thin and see through. However, 24" wheeled luggage bag is awesome! It definitely could withstand rough handling at airports. It's great for car trips too! It has 2 non-swivel wheels but it still rolls nicely on smooth or semi rough road. No zipper locks though. Overall, this luggage set is very basic but it's usable!

    The Protege 3 piece luggage set is perfect for a vacation, business trip or just a weekend getaway. This is a soft side luggage set made of 600 denier polyester that is tuff and easy to maintain. The 24" upright has multiple main and zippered compartments, inline wheels and a telescopic handle to make navigating easy. The set also comes with a 22" duffel and a boarding tote. The zippers are easy to open and close and have a well made feel when using. The upright has a 2" expansion and a lockable zipper for security but the lock is not included. This is a well made, durable and easy to care for set of luggage that looks great and is a perfect fit for any occasion.
