The only brand I'll buy.
If youre new to this kind of crabbing, in which we were, this is an incredible crab snare brand. We've only crabbed twice so far, using two different types during our last trip (Danielson and Promar). And Promar was not only the winner, but it scored somewhere in the range of 15-0! So naturally, I bought more in case we lose any.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/01/2021Worked until brokeCaught a couple nice size females with it that I had to throw back, and then the leader disconnected (clip failed) and I lost the trap. I think I will buy another and replace the leader with something more substantial that has no with clips that can come disconnected.Norman

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/14/2021Just need a little tweakingWhat I do is hot glue the base of the loops in place. Make sure the loops are positioned slightly upwards. After gluing them in place, I slide the loops over a wine bottle and then run it under hot water amd then under cold water. It keeps the loops open.Harsha

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/06/2019Great way to catch crabI took a trip up north and decided to pick some of these up to try out. Never thought I would catch as many crab as I did with this. The key was jamming it with fresh bait and a slight jerk before reeling it in. I was able to catch 6 crab in about 15 minutes.SocalAngler

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/16/2018Not worth trying even it is cheapThis snare, by design, would not be able to catch a crab effectively. The loops do not stand up, instead, it sits on the sea floor. Materials are very weak, cheaply made, I can't imagine this results a crab with every cast. Don't buy this!!!Hiro
