i canned some chilli here and it has turned out great you heard all the jars popping in the lids so you know they are sealed

You get what you pay for.
These Presto canners are inexpensive and their quality shows it. Expect the bottom to begin to bulge out after about the fourth time you use it. Presto tells me that, that's a sign that it's gotten too hot. Well, I've never run it out of water and happened a second time after purchasing a new one. They function, but kinda scary when the metal on your canner begins to bulge. Cheap aluminum. Hasn't exploded off of my stove yet. Wrote the company, but they didn't replace. Cheap product.

    Good Pressure canner but...
    I puchased this after I got another manufacturers product and was dissatisfied. This pressure canner was better but there could have been some improvements such as a different regulator that would allow settings to 5, 10 and 15 pounds rather than the only 15 pounds regulator that is included. Also a second rack would be nice. I would have liked to receive this item sooner than the three weeks it took to get to me. Today I canned and I was happy.

    Love it!
    Works great on my new induction stove top. Just be careful of the weight limit for your particular stove top. I weighed my canner with 3 quarts of water and 18 full (of meat and veggie soup) wide mouth pint jars and it was just under 47 pounds. Quite heavy, so just be careful and don't overload.

    (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using this as a foot massager. I use a size 14 and I needed a pot big enough because I boil the water first then soak my oozing soars in the pot. A fantastic deal.ill also use this pot for making pickles and nonnas favorite sauce at the end of the year. Thanks walmart.ca

    Ordered this canner as a gift for my daughter, havent tried it out yet, but, looked everywhere for a canner, even my local Walmart couldnt get any in. So, I ordered it online, recieved it in 3 days, very impressed with Walmart.com's quick delivery..thanks

    Does not come with second metal insert.
    Overall I am pleased with the purchase. However I cannot double layer this pressure cooker. It should come with a second metal rack. But it does not,so I cannot utilize it to its fullest. Now I have to put out more money to buy a second rack I am not pleased. I removed two stars because of that. There's no excuse for it. Make sure that it has the second rack when you receive the item and if not return it.

    Great for first time canners
    We used this and canned 140 veggies and fruit!!! I honestly neverr canned before and this had perfect instructions and recipes for the things i was canning, green beans and peaches mainly I did. Also, I have a flat top stove and thought it wouldn't do, and almost bought another stove with coils tp do it. I didnt get the stove and used the flat top and it was a success! No issues and 3 days later my stove and canner were working full force with no issues.

    Great product. Light-weight.
    It worked wonderful and was easy to use. I've canned the old fashioned way with my mother in laws canner. This was so much faster. Cut time in half.
