I would not recommend. product is different compared to what is advertised. no metal bracket to mount. flake board is provided that does not appear adequate enough to hold weight of product. also screws missing. I will have to reach out to PrePac to see if screws will be sent. if not will be returning this unit

    Excellent shelf system for reasonable cost
    Purchased this shelf system to set up over-the-mantle home theater for our mountain Get-away. The parts were easy to assemble although the parts were not labeled. Takes about 20 minutes to assemble. Mounted it on wall by myself. Easily holds the weight of DVD player, Home Theater system, and 48" Flat television.

    No More Cord Spaghetti!
    Really loving this console. The instructions were concise and I had no issues assembling/mounting the unit. Initially during the mounting process, I was slightly concerned that the unit was supported by the provided mounting wood piece, as the unit simply slides into place rather than being secured with screws/bolts. However, the unit is very secure so this was not an issue. Because of the weight of the unit (along with the added weight of anything placed on it) I would not recommend mounting it to drywall unless there is concrete or studs behind it for support. There were a couple minor scratches on the finished surfaces, but a marker was provided to cover these up easily. My favorite feature is this being able to hide all of my cords within the back of the unit - I have 4 devices in the console that all have multiple cords, so its nice to not have to deal with the clutter of visible cords all over the wall. Overall, this is a great product for a very reasonable price and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a sleek, efficient console.

    This is a very nice looking piece of furniture. It definitely took more than one person to install it. And even though the mounting plate was level, when the shelves were attached, they were not level so it took some finagling to get the unit level. Also studs are where you find them and I only found 2 so had to use two super Mollys to support the shelves. This was not an easy install (when are they ever in spite of what the description says). I would call it difficult. Also nowhere in the directions does it say to plug in the surge protector and leave the protector hanging outside the shelf before installing the shelf on the mounting plate. If you wait until after the install, as I did, you will be on your back blindly trying to manipulate the plug into the outlet. Also ended up having to enlarge the access hole to do that. Which was not a bad thing since the hole is way too small to use. All in all, the unit looks good. But easy to install and easy to use! NOT!

    What I found most helpful were the previous reviews that offered the heads up that the unit does not include the 3 1/2 Screws and 1 person pointed out to mention to look for the dark color screws SO THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO BLEND IN THE BACK ROUND when metal plans one's will stand out like a sore thumb against the Black finish or the Espresso. I found for me the best screws were the 3 1/2 #10 Deck screws (They are what the product manual shows in picture form the recommended screws) Anyway I could not find them in Brown not the bugle head screws as the manual has pictured the recommended screws, " so I went with a dark green and you know it works out. The product Espresso supply's a matching Brown marker so even though the screws are way in the back I ran the marker over the dark green screw heads to conceal them to the Max. Why is it all 5 stars for me because my wife loves it. PS I did put the wires in the wall and feed them up from underneath the furniture. The outcome is awesome.

    Good but tricky/needs improvement
    We bought this console to put on the wall just below our flat screen. It is very easy to assemble specially if there are 2 people and 2 screw drivers :) It takes about 30 min to get done. It looks great on our wall and it clears a lot of space on the floor. We also bought this for our baby to not be able to catch all what is inside :) There are few annoying down sides to this, that's why i gave it 3 stars only. First, one of the shelves (C8 i think) was missing the wholes, we had to drill them ourselves. It is not a big deal but it is annoying and confusing because you keep thinking you did something wrong. Then, it doesn't come with the screws need to mount on the wall which is dumb because it's supposed to be mounted! So you have to go to Lowe's and buy 3-1/4" screws and you'd better take dark blue or black ones because otherwise they will show and it will look ugly. The manufacturer does include two plastic pieces to hide these screws...BUT since he didn't include the corresponding screws, these become useless because they won't fit on basic screws. And finally the most annoying thing was that you had to plug everything and place all the wires behind the console before mounting it on the wall. It's painful to do it that way specially if you have bulky adapters and plugs etc...And you have to secure everything to the console because if a wire isn't in the corresponding whole then you won't be able to put it on the wall, and someone had to spend some time lying below the console to fix all that. (in that case it was me while my husband was holding the console...and his breath hehehe). One last thing they could have thought of, is to put a hole in the corner of the top shelve...that way, if you want to place a phone there, the wires could go through the corner whole instead of travelling to the middle one. So the console basically covered all the wires whiche is great, except the ones for the phone that still show and that we'll have to hide with a sound bar :) Good luck everyone....but don't get me wrong though, this item is worth it for the price :)

    So overall i love this entertainment console. It looks great under my mounted tv saves space and helps hide a lot of cord clutter. However it does not come with the screws needed to mount the console which i think is pretty stupid and doesn't make a lot of since seeing as the whole point is for it to be a mounted console. I mean its literally called a mounted a/v console. so im not sure what they were thinking with that. All you need to do is go to lowes buy 3 screws (i think the instructions say 3 1/2 inch) and make sure there your pretty thick, and screw them to your studs, its not hard just annoying that it doesnt come with the needed supplies.

    Great for flat screen TVs, nice clean look
    We got this because we did not have a lot of floor space. We turned our home office into an office/ home gym. The gym equipment is big and this wall unit helps kep things off the floor.
