Punches Well Above Their Weight
I am really digging these speakers. For such a small unit, they produce a full rich sound and more bass than I had anticipated. These speakers are more than enough for my upstairs bedroom office. I'm powering them with a '96 Pioneer VSX-305. I used to use this receiver back in the 90s with some 3 way floor speakers with 15" woofers and I think these little Polks sound better. I've been mostly listening to music through headphones or in the car and I'm very happy to finally be enjoying music out loud again!

Pleasantly surprised
Sound quality is excellent. Highs are crisp and bright, mids are rich and full, and lows are surprisingly solid and without boominess. Well worth the price.

I paired them with an inexpensive desktop amp, and they work perfectly, delivering solid highs and mid-ends, and surprisingly good bass. The stereo is placed in a 10 X 12 room, so I didn't want speakers to blow me away, but to have enough power and great sound just to listen to music while working away on my computer in that room (i.e., a den room). Purchased Polk T15 bookshelf speakers for the stereo after performing some research. They're awesome! Definitely recommend these speakers for a small to moderate size room.15698Fraser

Very balanced and neutral sounding, I have them as side and rear speakers in my 7.1 setup and they provide an excellent clean sound with little effort. The front reflex port allows me to mount them almost flush on the wall.Butch B

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser02/16/2022Awesome, affordable bookshelf speakersI began with the tl1600 speakers but after two years I realized I needed something a bit louder with more clarity bass and overall punch. Although, I wanted to still keep the form factor relatively small. I love how Polk audio sounds so that was my first choice, after some research I bought the t30 center channel speaker. I was impressed by the clarity and bass from that speaker alone, but with 4 tl1600 surround speakers it left a little to be desired without the sub on. I replaced the front channel with a pair of t15s, and after a week, loved them so much I decided to get two more for the rear channels. I've read reviews that say these do not put out enough bass, but in my opinion they reproduce the perfect amount. Especially for how cost efficient and small they are. (Added bonus they are front ported so you can hang them directly on the wall) I leave my subs off during the day because the tseries speakers sound that good by themselves. They have a punch to them, of course if you want to hit lower bass notes you will need a sub. Regardless these things surpassed my expectations. There are times when I don't even realize I forgot to turn my subs on and I have a rather robust system. Solid A.Cody2468
