    2nd Pocket Hose To Break At Female Connector
    this is my second pocket hose. the first one lasted 2 months. the exact amount of time that this one lasted. I thought the first one was just bad luck so I went and purchased another. I didn't try to take it back or warranty it. however, this one made it through spring cleaning but died over memorial Day weekend while we were playing in the yard. The weak spot on it is at the female and male ends of the hose. The hose is crimped down onto plastic fittings that are necked down to about a quarter inch in diameter. this part of the hose sees the most stress. It seems they are trying to protect the small diameter plastic fittings instead of just using a quality fitting by putting a plastic sleeve over top. the sleeve goes over top of the fitting but it does not stay on it. It slides off and then down your hose. I tried to super glue it but there's just not enough there to get it on and glued to do anything substantial to help it. It popped right back off. I didn't bother writing a review after the first one broke, but figured I'd better this time. I'm going to try to either take you this one back because I did save my receipt or see if they will warranty it. I have been using a hydrotech expandable Kink proof hose that is 50 ft and 5/8 diameter and says that it is burst proof. however, I highly doubt that but it has seemed to hold up fairly well. this will be its second summer so hopefully it makes it through. if it does I will be happy with it. It actually says that it has a 10-year warranty. not sure how easy it is to get that, but 10 years is a long time for a hose, especially a $40 one. I have three or four contractor grade hoses that are several years old. I even have a couple that are softer rubber that you can use in colder temperatures and are very thick to hold up to dragging around on concrete, stone wherever you wanna drag it. It has held up for several years so far it's just heavy and being it's 75 ft theres alit of hose there to carry. these hoses have their uses and I guess you have to buy what you need for the job that you're doing, but these hoses should last longer than 2 months, at least the summer.

    Not worth it
    This hose does NOT work like they show you on the infomercials. The nozzle is cheap and the fittings around the hose are even cheaper. It does not expand and shrink like it's supposed to. I returned for a refund.
