The case is a typical great buy value from Plano..
The case fits the needs and expectations for what I needed it for. I am glad that Plano offers the same consistency in this case offering as they have for the smaller ones I have. I would say to all buyers looking for a great rifle or similar long need, pick this case.

flimsy, corner cracked upon first use
Despite the hinged, the rifle case does not line up upon closure - at least not with any rifle or shotgun in it - and is so flimsy that the corner cracked the first time it was closed. There was no forcing. Not fit for TSA transport.

    Good for the money
Its a decent case for the money. I read through the reviews and was hesitant. But I also didn't want to drop $75+ on a case. My primary reason for buying this case was for a cross country trip. I have guns that my father gave me and I want them to be better protected. With that said my lever action 30-30 with a scope, and a 20 gauge single break barrel shotgun both fit fine. Lever open and barrel open (not fully but enough for safety reasons). There was still plenty of room that I could put in a pellet hand gun. So space is not an issue. The foam is NOT secured inside. Another reviewer said the same thing. I used multi purpose cement to glue them in. The case is decent hard plastic, but it wouldn't survive a hard fall, say off the back of a moving truck. And In my opinion its way to long and bulky to be carried into the field. But decent enough to haul multiple guns to the site. I also like that the lock holes (there are 3) are wide enough to allow for a normal lock, not those tiny wussy airline approval ones that are easy to cut through.

    Good Gun Case
I purchased this Plano case to house and transport my match air rifle. It is quite adequate for that purpose. I don't believe I would use it to ship the rifle through the mail or via air. The double foam liner was not fastened, but was loose. It needs to be glued to both sides of the plastic case. I would purchase another Plano product.

Built tough and plenty of room
Compared to other gun cases I've tried this one is definetly one of the better built ones in terms of strength and protecting your gun. For the price I would definetly consider getting another one of these just to have. It fits a scoped shogun or rifle in it great with plenty of room for another unscoped rifle/shotgun/ or multiple handguns.

This is a decent case from general stroage.
This is a pretty good case for general storage and protection within your home. As far as moving your weapons around in this case, you may want to come up with the extra 20-50 dollars for one of Plano's higher grade model cases. It will, however suit your purposes for light travel without many bumps. It is a little thin compared to other Plano cases. As far as size, it is long and wide. I purchased mine specifically for a stacked AR15 (M4 A4 platform) with a stacked optical system (handle, scope and red dot). It's plenty wide for this. There is enough length to hold, easily -6 mags, detachable flashlight, and a S&W bayonet.

    Good for local transport
The product seem to be good for the price. I haven't done air travel with guns nor have I shipped guns. If I did, I would buy a different case. This one is great for transporting in my vehicle. I would not trust its durability from impact or its ability to hold the guns stationary if some airline or package delivery personnel were to toss it around. It serves me well for my local transport.

This may suit some people's needs
It was fit for purpose for light duty semi-discreet transport. . .that is if it fits in one's vehicle. It is very large and would not fit in my trunk without folding the seat down, therefore I returned it.

    great gun case
Im a girl so I dont know much about it but it's well made and roomy with nicely padded interior. You can have it locked in 3 places. The only thing negative was the website said you could have it customized but there were no options along the way of checkout to do so. I ended up having to go to things remembered at the mall and have my nameplate made there for $20.
